Another currency tab update thread
" or maybe have a premium version that we can pay extra for or upgrade to. |

the other thing i'd really like - clearing the empty space between stash tab labels so that more tab labels can be made visible at once - so reduced need to scroll or have to use the side drop-down menu.

" As if buying a tab for 150 points (15 Dollar) isn't enough, right? Let's go through it then for a moment to see just how much a player needs to invest to have a 'fairly decent' amount of storage. Special Tabs: Map, Currency, Essence, Divination, Fragment, Unique Map = 15 Dollar Unique = 14 Dollar Currency = 7,5 Dollar Essence = 4 Dollar Divination = 5 Dollar Fragment = 7,5 Dollar Total price for Special Tabs: 53 Dollar. Now to go over to having 'proper tabs' in general we need a dump-tab, place for resonators and fossils, place for equipment for secondary characters, selling-space. Hence we upgrade the 4 base-tabs to premium, wanna have a proper sorting, right? 1,5 Dollar per for a total of 6 Dollar Now we use 1 of those for fossils, 1 of those for resonators, 1 of those for projects 1 of those for bases. Which leads is to missing storage for sale and the dump-tab. Those are quad-tabs best of all since items for sale can sit on the shelves a while and you don't want to sort out the dump-tab for as long as possible. So another 2 quad stashes each 15 Dollar for a total of 30 Dollar. So at the end we have: 53 For Special-tabs. 6 for upgrading existing ones. 30 for getting proper functionality. Which is an end-result of: 89 Dollars... fuck me, GGG is darn greedy, MORE then a full-fledged newly-released title... and we're not talking about vanity-items here, we're talking about basic functionality fitting to what we had 2 years ago, when those 4 tabs were actually enough to play comfortably. By now GGG has gone from being the 'good guy' regarding micro-transactions (nothing 'micro' there either) to being just another disgusting greedy company (in my eyes). It's anything but customer-friendly and absolutely unnecessary. Lootboxes to prey upon the already high number of gambling-addicts and collectors in such a game-type, limited offers only available for a short time (code doesn't deteriorate after all! No reason to take them out besides forcing people to spend) and F2P being a joke, just there so they can provide it per name rather then in spirit. So no... even with VASTLY increased functionality the price of tabs should rather fall down to very small prices, MTX is supposed to be the main income of any F2P game, not functionality. Everything else is just greed. GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease. Everything fixed but still broken. |

" Bumping this because it's absolutely ridiculous that Harbinger and Ancient Orbs don't have a dedicated slot in the current tab layout. |

" well, i have like 6k+ hours played....for less then 100$ (and i spent like 400$), it's good trade |

" I can do that with Factorio as well, playing 6k+ hours and still have in-depth builds to create a 'better' factory to do. Only costs me a single time. Or Guild Wars 2, you only have to pay for the base-game and you got everything provided then. Sure, you could buy the premium currency and turn it into gold... but that's so utterly inefficient that it's worthless to do, and provides no in-game advantages usually. In comparison PoE does provide in-game advantages, hence it's more P2W in that matter then Guild Wars 2 even, and already there the line is fairly blurry and not customer-friendly. So no, a bad example doesn't provide a worse example to be viable suddenly, there are games out there which allow for vast amounts of time to be put into them, offering the 'games as a service' model as well and not preying on your wallet in such a manner. GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.

" I have one quibble with your argument here, which is that most AAA $60 games are incomplete shells with many additional micro-transactions, sometimes as “expansions” which really complete the player experience, other times as cheats or, worst of all, gambling sims targeting addicts and children. Point being, games haven’t actually been $60 for quite a long time, and the nature of the industry makes it easy to hide the true price of play from consumers. We're all in this leaky boat together, people.

" The utter disregard for behaving customer-friendly isn't to be seen a 'common'. Unless you want to be treated as shit that is. Also there are by far a lot of good games out there which uphold their price-tag properly, taking disguised 'bags of shit' as an example isn't the proper way to do it. Grim Dawn, Last Epoch, Factorio, Minecraft, Oxygen not Included, Project Zomboid.... just to name a few good ones, they uphold their standards and are fantastic games in their own regards, so please abstain from lumping them in with EA/Bethesda or Activision BS which is atrocious and should literally be outlawed. As for PoE... mediocre at best regarding to upholding their standards, they are at the edge of falling off that dreadful cliff of becoming one of the atrocities. Hence all the more important to provide QoL-updates as much as possible to return from that edge. GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.

" Minecraft is just copying Terraria with everything after the base game though. And Last Epoch is literally trying to be D3. Grim Dawn is 90$. And I know nothing of those last ones. I just looked at those last two. It looks like trash some teenagers made in Unity. A quick read of the description makes it clear they aren't full games. Just little dick around things. Edit: I spaced looking into Factorio, it's also clearly another dick around half a game. Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.
