1) UNinstall your current POB (just to be safe)

2) Go here


3) download the file called PathOfBuildingCommunity-Setup-

4) After it downloads, double click the .exe file and follow the set up directions from there

17-6 New POB(fork) for leveling in 3.11. the build will use 2h weapon with tectonic slam for leveling. until you get the gear, there is 4 diff trees in the POB. also look at the notes i made.**THE NOTES ARE INSIDE POB AT TOP BETWEEEN IMPORT AND CONFIG**

*Update* 5-6-2020- 3.11 looks like a solid buff to slam skills(especially Tslam) + some new timeless jewel options, so this build looks to become better then ever!!

Update- 14-6-2020 i have finished a 200 pages report and will invest some time into redoing the guide in near future. eventually rewriting the entire post, have abit of patience, i been working 14 hours pr day for the last 2 months.

*Update* 3.10 Build still as strong as ever. the guide consists of 2 sections. the 3.10 in top, and the 3.7 original down below, the 3.7 have details regarding all the items and talk of the build. all thies still hold true, with some adjustments to bases for crafting ect. The 3.10 section holds my current build lvl 98 in HC delirum.

11/4-20 Rip. at 99 50%. Huge missplay and bad situation combinened. had alot of time to use flasks, moltenshell, dodge or logout but dident.

Just wanna show New POB for my current setup. fully buffed damage is in POB 3150000. so real damage is 75% of that 2.362.500‬
wanna switch to full ailment immunity and some more cluster jewel.

*Importent NOTE*
22-3-2020 Been doing some calculations on the damage since something was off. i contacted Local identity(author of POB FORK) and he confirms this. The POB numbers on tectonic slam, is not shown correctly. it shows only the damage of charge slams and not the avarage damage(1.21 more without ench or 1.33 with enchant) therefore the real damage is abit lower. to find the damage you do you need to take the damage from your POB and divide it by 160 and then multiply by 121(or 133 if ench) to get the real damage..

formula: (damage/160)*121
or 121/160= 75.625% of your POB
the damage is still higher by a fair ammount vs any other skill i tested in POB.

A note. many people follow the guide, and 95% of the replyes in this guide is the same questions, with same answers. Please! read thrue the last xx pages, since i think your issue or whatever have been discussed several times. and maby also contains some solutions to what different ideas you have for improvements or options.

-Need something very forgiving to push your personal boundrys for how high content you can do in HC?, one of the most newbie freindly tank builds!

-Like seeing some big ass hits destroy intire screen and stun bosses even?

-More tanky, way more dps and aoe clear then herald of agony builds

-One of the best solo delve builds.

-Immortal Lab farmer.

-Relative easy gearing process, nothing beside weapons are mandatory and most items are very strait forward.

Well this is what the build offers.

the Downsides are:
-its relative slow moving becours of low ias weapons and leapslam/dash.

-Cant compare to Clearspeed builds Like ED and similar in destroying legions.

-The single target DPS is neather in the insain catagory. thoe high enough to down every content ingame easy.. up to 3 mill shaper dps!.

-Nulifyer nemesis mod rares can steal your endurance charges so be aware, can be deadly if you try to take the intire screen with no charges.!

Did similacrum in party setup and it was super chill. with fully decked aura supports my hp bar rarely moves.
have max taken 2k damage from an boss in wave 20 with some beefy damage mods.

the build have capped chaos res. 50-70k armor. max effect moltenshell.
and so many sources of reduced damage its crazy.
its propperly reaching 90% phys mitigation cap in all scenarios.
beefed up fortify.
33- to 38% reduced elemental damage taken.
2k regen + leech.

my delirum at lvl 98

*note* the lethal pride i have added to the sulfur flask it grants
+40 to strength
8% increased maximum life
+20% fire resistance
20% increased Melee Damage
gain 5% of physical damage as Extra fire damage

showcas of 3.10 tier 15 map clear. this is lower level gear very budget version. still alot of gear improvements to be made

my POB at lvl 96(gear is still far from optimal)


3.10 HC awakener kill by person. note that only the degen ground makes it scary. this can largly be mitigated by switching to full immunity setup to ailments.

Cluster jewel
There is propperly many new setups to be used with passive tree and gear with new cluster jewels. YOU can propperly improve the build even further with abit theory crafting.

the stuff i added to the build. is 1 large jewel cluster.
this item i use since when dpsing im mainly stationary. it adds 20% more damage and 10% reduced damage taken so its very strong. using a movement skill will remove all viens instantly so its not really slowing me much down. you can also move abit and only lose a few vines.
i think the most optimal build is to respec abit and get two large clusters.

The setup i was aiming for with this char uses 1 large jewel cluster(staff/mace 8 points). unique medium cluster Megalomaniac Medium Cluster Jewel
Natural Affinity Small Cluster Jewel
the notables you aimfor is Overlord: this replaces Fortify in your links for
Inspiration support(1% more damage, abit crit, and biggest bonus super easy substain of attack doing single bossing.

The fuel the figth notable gives mana leech and attackspeed. and damage while leeching
and eather Feed the fury or Drive the destruction to give life leech.

Now a jewel cluster cant have all three i think or maby they can+ 2 jewel soccets.

So the idea is get 1 or 2 of em on the large jewel. and the last you miss on the unique medium cluster. together with 2 other good notes, the combos here can be endless regarding what you get on eather of the jewels. so there is not a single best combo but you can figure a mix.

This will allow the build to feel much smoother vs mana cost. and pimp the damage.

lastly it allows for crystal skin annoint for full immunity setup(se below)

Gem setup
For max damage setup the links are.
awakened multistrike.
awakende melee physical(this is pretty importent since adds intimidate)
awakende elemental damage
conc effect
awakende ele focus
This setup does have the issue that multistrike is to my best knowlege bugged with tectonic slam and dont count the overcharged hit by first hit but can randomly consume charges doing the copyed hits. this adds the big disadvantage that you can blow charges on the weaker hits, and that you can risk consuming all the charges fast and leave you vunerable. it does however help alot for mana consumtion.

the setup i recommend is Tectonic slam.
awakende melee physical.
elemental damage with attack.
elemental focus.
endurance charge on melee slam.(can beswitched for bossfigths you cant stun)
Conc effect for bosses/ or ruthless for clear(can also be pulverise)

Fortify support= this gem is very importent, but when you get overlord jewel cluster notable switch to inspiration to remove all mana issues and abit more damage.(yes i dont have it in my POB, but i strongly recommend it.

Other gems
Herald of Ash. this is a nobrainer. adds more firedamage, and aoe burn on kill its a decent part of clearspeed.

precision adds accuracy and crit the crit is nice to easyer proc EO. Be aware that the jug note adds 30% accuracy if crit in last 8 sec. so your endgame goal is to hit 3k accuracy. you can lvl precison to what lvl you need to substain mana cost. I try to get some STR on some items since it gives us all we need damage, life and accuracy(from accendency)

summon skitterbots
adds two minions one applying chill to nearby enemys(reduce action speed=defence). One applys shock(offence 18% more damage)
this aura can be switched but i have yet to figure a better aura. it can situational be switched for an res aura to cap or maby vs certain bosses.

Blood and sand
Gives blood and sand stances. that you switch around. sand for more aoe doing clear, and blood for more damage vs bosses.

i chose for the 3.10 to use Dash+ second wind support. you could also use leapslam with faster attacks(can allow for also linking with ancestal warchief
the issue with the dash is we cant get enough dex for max lvl so we lose abit of reach and cooldown.

Blood rage- for frency charge generation and attack speed. note we gain no leech from it since all fire damage.

ancestral warchief. adds a damage bonus+ abit damage. linked with combustion it globally reduces targets fire res. use on hard rares and bosses.

Cast when damage taken.
two options. Run a lvl whatever setup with CWDT, wave of conviction+ inc duration and vaal molten shell. this gives the bonus of auto cast Molten shell but the downside is that regular molten shell can overwrite you Vall moltenshell.

option 2. lvl 1 wave of conviction+ inc duration+ max lvl Vaal molten shell. this is my pref setup. this allows you to controlle when to use Molten shell and enshure you got your Vaal moltenshell for max duration. i think this is best by far since stuff like metamorphs can kill you if you suddently run out of VMS.

Enduring cry. to start getting endurance charges+ substaining doing bosses.

If you dont use kaoms roots. there is room for gems like Curse. enligthen ect.

Crafting gear
the gear can work with regular rares. but here is some great options.

my helmet is maby the most insain helmet with thoes mods. and the ench is great for any fire build that uses wave of conviction.
the base is warlord. need i85 for the minus fire. this i crafted with using only scourched fossils. there is also a option to go pristine, but cant role the hybrid arm/life then. propperly can use combos of more fossils to up your chances.

an elder or warlord base can role 12% life. but its not that big. also stuff like regen and strength%

boot. warlord can get a prefix 1 max endurance charge

Belt. you can use an conqurer exalted orb on i86 stygianvise to get a special mod.

for immunity setup(easy awakener)
To make the build even safer, and to super safe awakener farming an full immunity to ailments are needed. eather go for annointed flesh, + arakali pantheon to reduce effect of shock+ kaoms root, this reduces shocks so much it dont matter, and kaoms root takes care of freze and chills.
or craft fully immunity as follows.
the recipy are:
2 items eather helmet, boot or glove. need the 25% ailment avoidence mod(surfix)
Chest need 35% avoidence craft prefix.
Crystal skin annoint. for the last 15%
then get life and mana leech from cluster jewels.
this is the setup i want but just dont have atm. Doing awakener your flasks dont refill so relying on flasks are really bad.

Imunity to bleed can come from ring corrupt(this works vs all bleeds)or a jewel with immunity to corrupting blood. To have this mod is 100% mandatory for awakener. you can potentially have a shit jewel you swith in for the figth.

Try to notice shaper balls do less then 2 k damage (get hit 2 times), not any thread at all

Kill all for 2 skill points.
Oak is not bad eather 20% damage, 1% regen and 2% phys mitigation. can help alot early game, late game the phys mitigation becomes pretty useless.

From all the skills i tested Tectonic slam seems to deal most damage and have best aoe clear at same time.

the Key unique is the nebuloch that drops from The elder.

This is our main source of defence and it scales its damage from the endurance charges. so the more the better. the downside is not that bad since with 9 endurance charges you degen 1800 pr mace or 3600 total. this is mitigated by fire res

No purity of fire: 3600*0.23 = 828
With purity of fire: 3600*0.19= 684

The tree got alot of regen but also we use Kaoms way to furthermore give more regen. This item use to cost 1-2 exalts(HC).

For full fire conversion you need avartar of fire, or the magnetic strike + previous note. but for the AOF you have two options.
to spec it on the tree or to use a Xoph blood amulet.

with the new tree on 3.11 the amulet spot is opened up for some juicy rare crafted amulet.

the downside of specing on the outside of the tree is not that great and opens up for other strong necklesses. like impressence or a strong rare. i would acculy belive its possible to craft way better amulets then the Blood.

Gluttery is used only to proc endurance charges prior to figth els i just run with it in my inventory


This build is all about stacking Defences.
High armor, 50k+(up to 70 k in 3.11)
Molten shell full effect. CWDT or self cast.
high chaos res. up to cap if 1 item with res.
18%-20% reduced ele damage from hits from the Nebulochs.
alot of phys mitigation from endurance charges.
Its a jug. so ton of armor. mitigation from the accendency. and regen based on damage taken.
Flasks, can swap ele res flask to what ever need..
1 purity aura can be changed for any need.
6.7-8k life. This migth not sound like the largest. but this version of the build specs into alot of fortify, so in most scenarios the build is tankyer then 20k+ es chars.

the new fortify notes offer 50% more effect, and with helmet craft and timeless that can easy go over 100%. Atm my build got 95%.

So in total around 39% reduction from fortify ageinst all sources of damage!

Stun. this is not to be underestimated. i Can stun most bosses including agent of the void in Shaper realm out of animations, basiccly making it a ragdull.
also this functions as a great Crowd controlle in mapping locking down most packs and rares in front of me.

Kaoms roots are great. especially with good ench: regen, pen, attack speed. and very godtier with endurance charge corrupt. Atm i just cant fit the resists to use it.. also lacks 1 gem soccet when i use tombfist.
This boot is mandatory for doing uber elder, You can switch for another boot with Movespeed and resist when mapping(to Reach ele weakness cap) i dont suggest you get kaoms root before late game. its not needed and will make gearing cheaper and easyer.

Outside the Gear i mentioned. rest can be regular rares or uniques you like to use, however focus on life and capping your resists, i would prioritise to get life over damage on gear.

GLoveToombfist is a nice glove since offering some decent life+ res(from abyss jewel). with equipping a Murderuos eye jewel in it WE intimidate on hit, dealing 10% MORE damage. i cant figure out to fit in a 2 soccet. since gem soccets. Also its vastly more expencive. Lastly since its fairly common unique it can be aquired with ELE weakoness on hit( or other suitable curses). that is hard to get on propper rare.
when getting Awakened melee physical that gives intimidate, you can switch the glove to a even stronger rare, but tombfist is hard to beat if you got ele weakness corrupt

Timeless jewels
Legion added this unique set of jewels that can completly change how notes work or what you can do.. i havent looked much into it. there may be jewels that makes a completly diff passive tree much stronger, and even make smart use of other items aswell. Including Intimidate. for switching glove. or other powerfull notes. many other types of timeless jewels could be strong.

The old pre 3.11 dualwield have been removed. watch the POB at top and read the notes. the build lvls with 2 hander.


The build is very good at bossing, its close to immune to Physical damage, and also reduces elemental damage taken.

the one minor weakness, is that both Fortify and NEbuloch elemental reduction is ageinst Hits. so Damage over time is our weakest spot. In thies fights its Shaper beam(think its 50/50 cold/ligthing) So thats the only part that hurts the build.. however this is relative easy to avoide. so not big deal just watch not standing to close to shaper since its aoe can hurt you if close behind him.

All other hits in the figths can be easy tanked. The mobs, and phys degen. the cold vortexes. ALL elder hits. even hes big slam(50/50 phys cold) hits for around 5k. shaper slam is like 500 hp. shaper balls can be scary but i tanked a few and it hits for 2k max.. so we can effective tank all 3 and live.

I would suggest.. ignore Elder attacks.. and focus on avoiding shaper balls and beam.. kill the mobs to prevent the degen spread. and place vortexes smart in bulks.

For pantheon.. i use Solaris (even thoe lunaris can be better) just to avoid getting crit 2 times and die) and minor god i use soul of yogul to reduce cold damage.

There is many options to deviate in gear, if you got some crazy rares. dont hold back in experimenting, when your at high lvl.

Hit lvl 100. and finished the 40 challenges with the last uber elder kill..

Most my XP was grinded in RED maps, mainly t16 spawning red elder, shaper, uber elder. and delve+300. nearly all solo.
half of 99 was grinded in PURE BREACH STONES, 5 way timeless. and poorjoy.

I will take a break...

If i can hit 100 doing the hardest content doing this so can you

Added Shaper kill Video.
This chest or similar i used to craft in multi leagues. now however its gotten popular so the fossils now cost alot. last league each serrated costed 2-3 chaos.
