Which one is cheaper? Vaal ice nova needing that reduce soul cost at least 1.5 ex to made it work what about essence drain?

Essence Drain/Contagion is cheap, but it requires a bit more skill to use especially in endgame. It's not for everyone...

My newly created (experimental) Character can clear ~75% of a Monolith with a 5-Link Vaal Nova. So yeah...I think it's entirel doable on both skills with cheap gear^^

My 2nd Legion build is an ED-CON + Bane/Despair + a Wither totem and I'm only using self-found gear. In Act 9 so far and it's dissolving everything nicely so until endgame mapping where I'll need a better wand and a different 6L chest than a Tabula it's no cost yet.
