What's the point of frenzy charges??

I know what it does but my question is:
Why would I spend 1 skill point to increase the maximum amount + 1 skill point to increase the duration when several nodes give 10+ attack speed permanently (which is the equivalent of 2 charges or more)?? |

:( Think about it, 7 charges....I dont see that man faster attack speed mods...

brb i need to look for all the nodes that is combine into 1 10%attackspeed 10% and maybe 11 or more % in per charge unless you have the frenzy quality on top so i need to go look for the passive tree and look at all the area |

Frenzy charges also increase the damage of the Frenzy skill itself.
Did you know level 91 is the halfway point to level 100? This means that a softcore character dying ONCE at level 85+ can lose many days of progress.

" Attack speed also. Frenzy charge give you additional attack/cast speed, but the Frenzy skill gets EXTRA bonuses to attack speed and damage for having frenzy charges. The point of frenzy charges is options. You can take those attack speed passive nodes, you could use frenzy without spending passive points, or you can do both. |

don't forget it also allows you to bypass the cooldown time on flicker strike.

" No offence but that's why I used the word "also" myself. The OP seemed aware that Frenzy charges boosted his Attack Speed, but didn't mention the damage boost anywhere. I can spend one random socket on Blood Rage to get at least 15% attack speed.
It stacks with the few general attack speed nodes that have a 12-15% attack speed. Most of the smaller attack speed points aren't worth the investment. Blood Rage with CI is a free attack speed buff for the price of one socket. Yes, please. |

Frenzy charges are multiplicative rather than additive (which is what regular IAS nodes are).
