GEAR UPDATE 7/7/2019



+2 AoE gems corruption brings alot of power:
799383.7 Discharge average hit (According to PoB) with flasks/charges/arcane surge
799383.7 x 7.19 x 0.65 = 3.7 mil regular DPS

With Vaal RF - 1030256.4 x 7.19 x 0.65 = 4.8 mil DPS

this is EXCLUDING 20% shock from a ring with +38% shock effect and Inner Conviction

579022.2 is an average Discharge hit with 7 power charges, 4 endurance charges, flasks and aspect of the spider.
Inner Conviction, Arcane surge mod from Watcher's eye and shock effect from a ring are not supported by PoB atm, I decided to leave it as it is
So DPS would be 7.15 x 579022.2 x 0.65(discharge gem penalty) = 2,7 mil
With Vaal RF and arcane surge average hit is 822k so the peak DPS could probably spike up to 4mil

NOTES: Why Trickster/CI/No Cospri's etc

I still think Pathfinder would be a solid choice overall, but I gave Trickster a try and it's going pretty well imo. Trickster has better starting position on the tree, some defensives, one extra maximum power charge and free of mana movement skills, which is huge QoL boost for leveling/gearing up. Getting power charge every second while channeling isn't a big deal, but it helps to sustain abit. I chose not to pick Escape Artist, because I don't wanna mess my attack speed, which is really important

Cyclone in this build has 100% hit chance at any circumstances, and pretty much 100% to crit (99,68%). Discharge has 0.13sec cooldown with 17% CDR from the belt, so the maximum rate at which it can proc is 7.69 times per second and by any means cyclone aps number shouldn't exceed it. My latency may spike sometimes, so I chose to use significantly lower cyclone attack speed - 7.15 normal and 7.41 while leeching energy shield.

Now few words about Cospri's sword. Imo, after GGG made cooldowns for Cospri's and Cast on Crit support equal for this build it is just bad in every single aspect. 5.5% base crit compared to 8.97% is terrible, high dexterity requirements is PITA to match, and you have to use Lycosidae or stack accuracy which is PITA once again. On top of that crafted dagger has a room for spelldamage craft.

Why CI? Simply because there are lots of ES spell damage leech/effect nodes, and being immune to chaos damage is a big deal nowadays, thanks to Incursions/Betrayal etc.

Rest of the build is same old story. CWDT + Firestorm to sustain powercharges, Wave of conviction for extra lightning pen, Immortal Call works really well here due to stable/fast endurance charge generation. For mapping I use Flesh and Stone instead of aspect of the spider for some extra safety.

Passive tree is locked as always, despite some minor changes probably. 3 x power charges and elemental equilibrium are absolute must to pick. Alot of damage (about 1/3) comes from jewels (4 x rare ones), so all 3-pointers are here aswell. After that I grabbed some ES nodes and for damage crit multi/ele penetration are the best.

Hello, how essential is getting that reduced cooldown recovery on a belt. I currently have headhunter and I'm curious if that belt is essential.
i love it, like the old CoC Discharger.

How is the Mapclear? Decend? Slow? ways to push the aoe?

Hello, CDR belt allows you to cast one additional discharge per second. It's not essential at all, just a nice way to boost your dps. Headhunter is the best option for mapping.

I'm running full single target tree and clear is something average-okayish I'd say.

For mapping I would pick witch's and templar's aoe clusters, and replace wise oak with dying sun.

I will post a tree once I get back to my pc.

Added passive tree for mapping for character level 91.


Looked fun, gunna mess around with this. I need to spec some more AOE for mapping, kinda hard to kill all the legion mobs but the damage is solid.

Got pretty lucky with the sword craft, only took around 200 alterations and 1 Annul. The helm was crafted as well with 5 essences haha.
