Raider - What's the point now?

Seems like Raider is the last to be "updated" before they can finally update Scion. Or am I missing any other?

I agree that each class should have an offense based, defense based, and utility or different interaction ascendancy class. Most of them do. (this isn't to say that you can't make offense asc classes tanky, or defensive asc classes glass cannons, just that usually the defensive has a unique extra layer of survivability)

Witch: Elementalist / Occultist / Necromancer (nerfs have kinda blended a bunch of these together)

Shadow: Assassin / Trickster / Saboteur

Templar: Inquisitor / Guardian / Heirophant

Duelist: Slayer / Gladiator or Champion / Champion

Marauder: Berserker / Juggernaut / Chieftain

etc etc etc

Ranger has Deadeye / none / pathfinder with Raider being mostly pointless
