[3.24] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, fun to play

I have been playing SA from Thedeathbeam since 3.13. But this time on Xbox without huge investment the build is sadly unplayable. I switched to Lightning Strike and its insane boost.

Yea sadly their way to balance poison this patch was just buy 6linked covenant lul. Its pretty dumb and with the focus craft nerf you rly rly need covenant (and darkscorn) to even do damage.

Ever since they nerfed the Fossil/Elder Bow craft into the toilet, there has been 0 diversity or anything crafting related for bow poison builds and now with the Covenant, you get to give up another slot on the altar of build load-bearing uniques! I hope at some point they make poison attack builds worth doing without requiring like twice the currency for a quarter of the efficacy you can get out of doing it with just about any other method, but with how the various adjustments have been going this league I'd call it unlikely.

But hey, at least Poco is cheap and viable I guess!

Thanks for the build, I thinks is the one I enjoyed the most of all the builds I try, ,,alongside with a toxic rain build I try like 5 or 6 leagues ago

What the numbers i can serch for glorious vanity (search for ritual of shadows)?
Except 7582? Trying to play thsi build this league but have some struggle finding this jewel.

You can use this to search for seeds, just select the proper jewel socket (Ghost Dance), search for ritual of shadows notable and press search and then try some of the jewels. You can also select nodes you are willing to take in the radius and then check filter nodes in the popup.

Disclaimer: I am a relatively casual player so take what I say as anecdotal instead of what may be optimal. Experiment and see what you like!

Well I modified the build a bit and went much further into damage and not into tankiness. I ended the league at 10-15 Mil DPS vs Uber Pinnacle Bosses in POB. Got 38 challenges and beat most of the uber bosses! Definitely doable beating all of them, but I am not very practiced vs them. Also, I would very strongly recommend you take Focused Ballista off for bossing so your totems can DPS while you scamper around. Secondly, I would strongly advise trying to get one or two Notables making your totems tankier so they can survive a random hit or two, especially vs the non Uber bosses as otherwise most of the fight you are just putting totems down to replace the ones that just died.

I much prefer SA totems for clearing and siege ballista for bossing. Due to this, I really liked getting a 6L Covenant and getting a white socket so I could switch from a Covenant-based 6L Scourge Arrow Totem setup(that needs a red socket) to a Siege Ballista setup(which wants that same socket to be Green unless you want to fool around with Cruelty) depending on if I am bossing or not. Unfortunately, it is unlikely to get a good corruption + the white socket into a 6L with the right off colors you need so the white socket one I had wasn't corrupted. I ended up having two covenants depending if I wanted to clear or boss :D

I did try out Master Surgeon and it still feels pretty good especially vs smaller or repeated attacks, just not as busted as prior leagues. You basically sacrifice 15% more damage for it though. I also grabbed Ghost Dance and Corrupted Soul(with Glorious Vanity) and have been impressed, especially since Covenant is easily Best in Slot and forces you to have energy shield already.

I am hoping something related to this build or Pathfinder gets buffed a bit next league as it feels pretty good, but like its lagging a bit behind a decent chunk of builds. I miss being able to melding of the flesh without using 4 small jewel/megalo sockets.

If anybody has any questions happy to try to answer them.

How do you get your ballistas to do boss killing damage? I've just slotted my siege ballista in and they do almost no damage compared to me.

I'm also wondering how you were able to do the blood aquaduct with just ballistas and plague bearer. The ballistas won't ramp up plague bearer, right?

Admittedly I know about as much as Jon Snow about the intricacies of this game. Disclaimer: I don't have all the pieces of the build yet, namely the bow.
