Auto crash at the docks

My templar is at the docks quest and over the past few days the game has crashed 100% of the time while trying to load the docks. I have two laptops with PoE installed so I plan on trying to play my templar on the other computer when I get back home to see what happens.

Had to reinstall overnight. I'm finally visiting the Docks :)

Yep, docks loads on two other comps but still not on the machine that was giving me problems. Seems like some areas of the game have a small chance to get messed up while patching (the docks used to load on the computer that's giving me issues). Reinstallation likely will fix the problem. I'd hate to delete and reinstall (actually thinking of clearing the problem area on a machine that works and after continue play on my primary computer without resolving the docks loading issue), does anyone know a work around to fix the problem without deleting the entire game?

I have never been locked out completely. First time i deleted my hashcache and got back in the next try, but next time i tried that it didn't work, but logging in a few chars and then trying to go on my main again from a different waypoint i got in again. This problem manifested only in Eternal Lab for me.

Consequently i have quit playing the game for now. Too many crashes, and afraid of destroying my HD or PC in general when it hard locks on occasion. Other games run fine. Will be watching for any updates on these issues though.

OK, re-downloading and re-installing (without deleting the whole game) fixed the problem for me, although my character now makes no sound effects, does not listen to merchant voices etc. Ambient effects and music are fine and I can even listen to effects (e.g. footsteps) from other player characters. This could be a coincidence but I thought I'd mention it.

Reinstalling solved my problem. I know it is an unfortunate solution but it did work. Only 5 gb took just a couple hours to redownload. Then boom I was farmin and charmin with my brand new duelist.

The only special measure I took was deleting the entire /program files(x86)/Grinding Gear Games/ folder after uninstall.

Same here. i have 2 computers and both were 100% aurocrashing when entering the docks. reinstalled entire game (and removed folder before installing) and now it works 100% on this computer.

by the way, do anyone know why i get the loading screen for 2 minutes before i can type in my login details ?

I've had a docks crash issue similarly, but have noticed
that with firefox windows in the background seems to exacerbate
the crash issue... firefox is up to date and is being used
for audio or television streaming in the background as I play.

radio streaming does not seem to cause as likely a crash
as television, I'm suspicious of memory leaks or data
corruption because when the game is in memory and other
programs start using a lot of memory there is more likelihood
of a crash. (subjectively.) Is poe client not defending its memory
from use by windows? or is it leaking?

To add a bit more to this. Perhaps a month back i decided to take a break (due to this issue mainly), when I got back a few days ago, docks & sins worked just fine. As I hit cruel - chamber of sins, it crashed. Which means, for me it's completely random if it's going to crash or not.

Edit!!!: Tried again an hour later, crashed again. Then I got an idea, i ctrl-clicked the entrance to sins and chose a new instance, voila it worked. Please do try this with sins, docks & lab if you have this issue. If it works for most people it might get GGG a clue how to fix it!

Can't go to docks game crush every time no problems with other location.
I check that i also can't go to chamber of sins:(.
Need help stuck with quests.
