I posted more than once about the recent Vengeance counterattack bug causing crashes in Bug Reports, and so did others. No acknowledgement, nothing about it in the "Known Issues" thread.

Feels like talking to a brick wall.

Whereas POE Reddit gets full attention and any bugs reported there are quickly looked at.

Can you blame them? They don't have to moderate reddit, they have to spend resources moderating their own forums. Reddit is easier to use on the phone, their own website still sucks for anything other than desktop use after what 8 years? Any bad opinions can just get downvoted, while here they're permanently plastered on whatever page they got posted on. Not really a big surprise they choose le reddit over their own site, all developers do, but I wish they didn't

Real issue with the forum and the lack of staff interaction lies within the bug & feedback subforums I feel.
I understand it's impossible to treat every bug report the same way but there should at least be some sort of recognition from the staff here.

They don't give a damn. Look how bad everything is at the start of a new league, they obviously cared about other things while creating it.

What do you mean? Reddit is amazing, I love seeing people get downvoted because they didn't know this detail about the game or because someone disagrees with your opinion.

While the lack of staff replies on these forums does suck, some of the issues brought up here are also brought up on Reddit as well. We're all players experiencing the same game after all.

Yeah, I feel like it's the opposite here. Have you ever been to the feedback section of this forum? It's riddled with elitists and snarky trolls who think a cogent argument is "This doesn't need to be changed, you just suck lol".

I've gotten so many more friendly discussions and disagreements on the PoE subreddit when it comes to providing game feedback by comparison, and it's left me wondering why GGG goes there more often than here.

Considering that the official forums for this game is full of just non stop negative cry fests, I can't blame GGG for giving up on it. I have always felt the official forums were weak but since 3.7 its just become full blown aids. Have you seen the PoE reddit? I'm in there right now, it is just questions about builds, memes, and item showcases. The difference in post quality is insane.

It wouldn't bother me if the negative posts on the official forums were about real issues. Like :

1. Gross imbalances on the impact map mods have on builds. GGG is perfectly cool with 90% ailment avoidance which wrecks any ailment build. Yet we shudder to make the map mod that fucks crit anything more than like 35% reduced crit damage? One is nothing, the other is re-roll or skip the map.

2. Still have more mobs and mechanics that wreck melee than what can wreck ranged. GGG has been working on this every recent league. It is a work in progress and gets better every league. I'm happy with what they have been doing.

3. Skill gems aren't balanced among each other. Some are better than others. It sucks but I understand how hard it can be to balance so many skills and their interactions. I can't complain, GGG tries.

Are any of the above legit issues getting discussed on the official forums? Nah, we just got shit like bitching about the death penalty, mobs off screening players, betrayal being hard, people with bad builds upset. The official forums have just become a place for noobs to vent. Nothing of value is being posted. It sucks.

Have you considered that toxic attitude of yours is also contributing to GGG never posting here on anything beyond answering questions nobody else knows?

This is the kind of elitist stuff I was talking about. I don't see that nearly as much on reddit, and those that do tend to get downvoted.

the entire downvote system is for people that can't tolerate opinions and turn the place into another echo chamber..
