The timer is so short, that if I run around without attacking and take wrong turn 1-2 times, where I don't find any enemy with loot mark. It's already a waste.
If I do attack it's same result, do I get lucky and find valuable enemy. I really wish I can free that Legion boss I really do. To bad he was in the last part of my clear etc. Now this favors obviously ranged build who can stand in the middle and just blast them all. I am not counting where they spawn behind wall or impassable terrain, already got used to it from breach. It's bad even in nice open area. Other than that I am having blast, don't care crashes, losing completion, don't care. The league feels slightly counterintuitive in terms of being it melee focused. Not sure if there is any particular reason for the short timer, but it would be really nice, if there is more time and possibly having that choice, who you can release, rather than just go ham and hope for the best. maybe also while u are damaging them the timer slows down?
this would serve the function of allowing builds who are still attacking and trying to free the mobs to get some more time while also not having a really long timer for people who are happy with what theyve done and just want the fight to kick off. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

also instead of more time / slower timer how about introducing an aim helper like how it was way back with Tora guiding us to her pack to kill but instead showing us where the closest challenge part/ loot carrier is hiding.

I would love more time. because it can be stopped when ur done if you want to stop it early!!!

Yes, I'd like that. Feels too short.
Why not use incursions mechanic to extend timer? Like let's say when u deal dmg/release the enemy you get more time? Lets say like 0.3s per enemy released or something. In a nutshell the faster and more stuff you release the longer timer you have? GGG could maybe in addition make the base timer longer a little bit at the start. THIS would be very cool. The timer is IMHO fine... If they upped the timer, they'd have to reduce the loot. The end result would be using more time for the same loot.

They wouldn't necessarily have to crank back the loot for the timers. Let's be real, last league was a bit of a flop out of the gate and didn't gain much traction thereafter. It's a slippery slope (Legion was great! We want all leagues to be like that!) but turning the dials up a little bit to give us some juicy loot that we tell all of our friends about isn't a bad idea to drum up some more early attention for the game overall.

still they provide great experience. |
