So abyss jewels (one of few casual player accessible crafts) nerfed
i find this so odd. a year and a half ago when abyss league was winding down i expressly remember GGG stating that they felt belts were too powerful so they were taking out shape and elder stygians but they "were happy with where the jewels were" or something along those lines.
so now, all this time later, now they are too powerful? why don't you make harder content to keep up with always increasing power levels instead of nerfing existing things. what is the point of abyss mod even going to be? who in their right mind will run it now with the nerfs to the jewels? i ve played this game from its release but i could never engage in any other form of crafting other than the jwels. it seemed like the only craft that was affordable and rewarding for the investment it required. and not grossly convoluted. it is just a shame that this silly pattern of nerfing things many players enjoy continues on. A well rolled abyss jewel will be harder to get for sure, they will be worth more. And they will still be the best belts for 90% of builds. You will probably find yourself using a regular belt for awhile longer until you can get yourself a decent jewel. Then transition over to a Stygian Vise.

umm..... i ve used stygians exclusively since abyss league. i am a casual player not a noob player :)
my point is about nerfs to the jewels. they are also nerfing attack values rolled on jewels by 30%? i think? Shitysushi - Arrow shooting build.

i already dont make build around geting jewels sockets because they are expensive AF with nothing special, like for real. i've seen X jewel for like 5c and than i see a worst jewel for like 30c. wtf.

You do realise that they increased damage of basically every attack skill + base damage of 2Handers + introducing new Auras/Support Gems for each weapon type?
Nerfing the attack-modifiers on Abyss jewels is just a good way to not completely screw the balance. The baselinebuffs will outrange the Jewel-nerf and make jewel-stacking builds less OP in comparison to "normal" builds. Nothing to cry about. |
