(PS4) Legion start date 10th June?

Still waiting for patch notes, specially regarding the engine and performance.

I was totally hyped to play legion this weekend. I checked the main webpage that has the launch information and legion launches on consoles on a damn flippin’ Monday.

This totally ruined my damn weekend plans. So pissed right now.

Get used to it, every league so far on console has been released on akmday or Tuesday

Lol, im in the same situation. The game is new on console, so why ppl are saying the leagues always starts on monday or tuesday is a mystery. Perhaps on other ggg games. But hey, then more time to organize the end of synth league... i hadd a weekend off work and also planned ahead to play the new content... the timer should have had a big sign before it saying PC launch: 1 days 2 hrs...

Wasnt clear for me as well, because im not reading many posts about every aspects.

Anyway keep on the great work, love to see poe evolving. Should have known the game before it launched on ps4, i probably would have bought a pc just for this amazing game, bringing me back on my Ultima online and diablo 1 hype. Hihi

The game is new on PS4 - it's been around on Xbox since August 2017.

Xbox Leagues tend to launch now on Mondays, but that was not always the case - Bestiary launched Mar 7th (Wed) with virtually no advance notice (we knew it was coming because of the PC Launch of course, but not when).

GGG tightened up the timeline to target the Monday after the PC Launch and shortly thereafter, some people started commenting that they wanted a Friday start so that they could get in a weekend of play (but that would end up being the following Friday and so others (me included) push back on that).

With all the bugs and crashes, I'm okay with PC being the guinea pigs for a few days while GGG patches things up. We got enough crash issues as-is on console.

Exactly.

It's pretty much the same with other PC games on console. Take Smite for example. Due to the certification and verification process console Smite players are at least 1 week behind PC Smite players. There's always a short delay on console.

So I'm actually happy that we only have to wait 4 days for Legion instead of the usual 7 to 14 days that other companies need to have their updates verified by Microsoft and Sony.

Every single league we get this same topic! Our releases have ALWAYS been a few days after PC... PC has and will always be their first priority

Besides that I think GGG just gives not really much love to consoles (look at the the horrible trading experience on console...) they could AT LEAST add a timer for console launch. Why the hell is there a PC countdown but none for console? I mean... why???????

It is already totally inexplicable to me that they launch on a freaking Monday instead of a Saturday at least (still don't understand why not on Friday as with PC...)
But not giving at least the exact launch time is.... i dont know what to say.

Agree with the inconvenience. I was planning to play over the weekend and found out right when it released on pc that console wasn't getting for 3 more days lol. I think they should at least keep us more informed that the console and pc releases won't coincide with each other. The big timer on the main page is all I was looking at.

Anyway, I watched a few streams on the weekend and learned a lot how these pros race on SSF. Very informative and I will be more prepared when we actually get Legion on console.

Also agree that trading on console is awesome. Back in the day, every sale I made was through global chat and I spent most of my day typing, haggling, inviting, and grouping to trade in person. Now I just put stuff in my stash with a price and wait for offers. EZPZ. It could be better if offers were auto accepted if they met the posted price, but nothings perfect.

Same here, while I am excited for Legion a large part of that excitement has died down just looking at the numerous bugs and crashes being reported on the forums and reddit, and you see them as well with the streams. The PS4 already had a lot hiccups upon release and I can scarcely imagine how Legion will end up performing here when it definitely needs a lot of fine tuning at the PC.

The problems are especially prevalent at the end game content, which suffice to say is the most important aspect. So many bugs with notable atlas bosses or issues with the masters etc. I sincerely hope the console already implements many of the fixes, in particular the crashes, rather than going beta testing at the start of the league...
