(PS4) Legion start date 10th June?

Hi,

me and a fiend are long time PC POE players, but have now switched to PS4.
According to the timer the start of Legion will be 07th June.

But is this really only for PC?

I mean I have seen on reddit the ppl say release is 10th June for PS4.

But why? I mean why on a Monday and not at least on Saturday the 8th? And if so, is it also in the evening (CEST) ?

PS4 and XBOX league start is June 10th, if I am correct at 9:00am CEST

( Pacific Daylight Time is 9 hours behind of Central European Summer Time and they wrote the launch is at midnight)

Every single league we get this same topic! Our releases have ALWAYS been a few days after PC... PC has and will always be their first priority

Besides that I think GGG just gives not really much love to consoles (look at the the horrible trading experience on console...) they could AT LEAST add a timer for console launch. Why the hell is there a PC countdown but none for console? I mean... why???????

It is already totally inexplicable to me that they launch on a freaking Monday instead of a Saturday at least (still don't understand why not on Friday as with PC...)
But not giving at least the exact launch time is.... i dont know what to say.

Microsoft requires them to submit the launch content through a certification process. Due to this, it's very difficult for GGG to give us an exact time when it's literally up to Microsoft.

So that means Sony/Microsoft will update their market on Monday an then its there after?

For the first time it says, Legion date 7th june.
It usually says like 7th june on pc and 10th june on xbox.
To add on top of that, the challange leagues did start on the same day.

Soooooooo maybe this time....

The Flashback events tend to start on the same day for all platforms - that may have something to do with minimal patching involved and that it can be done ahead of time.

The other issue with League starts is that it is difficult (or just costly?) to rush a patch through the M$ process (do not know about Sony) and so they like to hold back until the urgent League Start patching gets done on PC and then include as much as possible in the Console Launch. GGG did manage a snap fix when Currency drops were messed up and so some things can be done quickly - they just tend to avoid it.

And tending to err on the side of caution regarding news, I interpret no news on Console Start to mean that GGG cannot guarantee a fixed date (I'm looking at you, PS/Sony). But maybe they are trying for a common launch date but just do not want to be held to it.
