Health bar above enemies

I agree like 100%

It kinda destroys the flow of the game, Being able to see the health bars would be a huge plus for the game, The forest in act 2 is just annoying without the health bars imo..
I agree, couldn't read all of the posts but maybe have it so it shows the health bar of the enemy you are "Targeting" or highlighting.
I actually think one should be careful with these things. Because its an option which make the game look uglier and more mechanic. It would be kinda mandatory cause it gives a gameplay advantage.
People will work around that missing feature if you don't implement it and these are the things which gives a game character.
Its the same with inventory size. You could just make a lot of space there. But if you don't people have to find a work around in picking up just the stuff they need. This gives you a feeling a knowing the game cause its something you have to master over time.

Cheers ;)
Hi,
I found this thread and after playing some public games ,i think it's definetely a feature to impliment to the game because it can be very messy in those kind of games with minions and dark environment like crematorium for exemple. Of course, you should make the option to show/hide it.
It could have an option to toggle when certain button is held like with items, so that you can quickly check hp and it doesn't cluster the screen too much. Those who don't like it can just not turn it on and every one will be happy ;)
I strongly disagree.
In fact, I would suggest that they remove the big target life bar tag on the top as well as highlights around mobs and players.
And then, turn on friendly fire for epic realism.

So next time you play, you'll just take dmg from all sides, mobs and players, don't know who is attacking you from where, how much life they have or if your attacks have any effect on them or not... awesome! Just pure, random hack'n'slash action, a chaotic skirmish of survival! The new Hardcore maybe? >:D

Lol that's ridiculous. AOE damage dealers couldn't team up with anyone, unless they would like to kill all other teamates.

There's nothing worse than spamming skills against enemies only to found out that its not even hitting them due to some weird corners or obstacles... Showing hp bars is a must.
I work as a UI developer in a software company, and for almost a year now I've also acted as a UX consultant. I've been paying more attention to UX details ever since, and this health bar issue was the first thing I've noticed.

Even though the lack of health bars adds to the difficulty of the game and makes it feel more hardcore, not everyone wants to play that much hardcore, so it's better UX to simply add an option to toggle them on or off. It's even better if you also add the same option for allies as well.

Good UX means longer lifetime. WoW came out back in 2004 and it's still going on strong, and I think one of the biggest reasons behind it is that the UI is almost completely customizable (even though you need addons after some point, it's perfectly achievable).
