Your Zombies count as Corpses

Almost certain the line is written as intended, i.e. your zombies have the 'Corpse' targeting tag. Means you can basically pre-cast your Volatile Dead fuel or pull Detonate shenanery, but also that enemies with corpse consumption abilities will fuck up your life. Remember - some enemies can consume corpses as well, Avian Retches come to mind, and with these gloves they can just up and swallow your zombies whole.

The gloves are going to be a super interesting item that changes the way you play the game, which is exactly what a good unique design is supposed to do. These things are supposed to subvert the rules and change the way the game works, so A+ design effort here. Definitely hoping to get the chance to tinker with these later.

They're certainly a bad option for traditional zombie use, but should be quite strong for non-conventional use and new builds.

And... Cast while cyclone!


Mate you will just spam 12-15 zombies and autobomb them like techies in dota 2 allright.

ive done zombiepopper builds using umbilicus immortalis and coruscating elixir to trigger minion instability. The burst damage could get pretty insane, capping out at many millions per pop. but each pop required quite a bit of setup time. NOt to mention zombie AI is kinda stone cold stupid most of the time, so while it was satisfying to erase a boss out of existance actually mapping was extremely clunky. This would definitely revitalize the zombiesploder build, though how much this will make it truly viable is left to be seen (it will be nice to actually be able to use potions with it though)

Zomboom has always been kind a klunky but, like you said, fun when you get them set up right.
Against lone targets like bosses with no mobs it's pretty close to instapop.
But against groups, not so good.

You'd probably clear trash with the zombies or some other skill.

And you can only pop a small number of zombie at a time. 2 with echo, maybe more with cascade - I'm not sure if they would have to be in the 'area' of each.

Also, not sure at all if you can buff the Zomboom with very many supports.


Just realized that with the new changes to movement skills (they trigger instantly) and sufficient cast speed a sufficiently large army of zombies could turn Bodyswap into a crazy version of flickerstrike...
