Games Like PoE

If you loved D2 then either Path of Diablo or Median XL.

For Titan Quest lovers Lilith The Will of Demon Battles of Jalavia is a fantastic mod.

why you suggest him borderlands? Borderlands without 2-3 friends is pretty bad game with repeat actions. Only coop make is super fun and not boring.

Games like poe... Not many games have dead=all your progress/loot are gone.
I would suggest you games similar to this function. At least you lost all inventory when die.

I would suggest you for example fallout 1/2 mmo clones such as Fonline2 (google it).
Similar things to poe:
free to play,
characters stats/perks,
events,
market,
hardcore exping,
many items,
crafting,
missions,
random roll item stats,
die=inventory lost (in most cases),
you can play it completely solo/ with friends/ public,
real-time function,
"isometric view"?,

but its also postapo and very good experience when already played fallout 1/2 game. Also super fun with group of friends (no limit). Game existing only because of players donations, so all updates are player friendly.

I know you meme-ing, but the current season that just started is kinda cool. You get legacy of nightmares baseline as the season mod.

It is fun to play a season here and there. Good news is, season just started this weekend, so there is at least people to play with atm.

its a solid game right now.
eso have cool PvE, PvP and Crafting /Collecting / housing / integration with game world and players. interesting trading option (trade guilds) you can play solo entirely or join guild with up to 500 members. you can set yourself a hardcore challanges (vma for example) or just rush through content ez mode


this game was steaming piece of shit on release,
but now, after 5 years its great !
i am having a blast right now there, in between poe leagues you can find me in Tamriel :)

So I gave Borderlands 2 a solid attempt. Story mode is a bit difficult, found myself dying quit a bit. I'm not the greatest at shooters but I don't feel I should have been getting dominated that hard. Lost interest pretty quick. Will probably try Path of Diablo next.

Monster Hunter.. Japanese ARPG with a very very thin story. It's all boss hunting and collecting loot. You just farm crafting materials for drops and make armor and weapons to take bigger targets. It's essentially a game about item loadouts and skill set ups with long attack animations that lock you down for a bit and lots of things the monsters can do to interrupt you and get you hit. Combat is slower 10-15 minute boss encounters at first. Top tier speed runners get them down to under a couple minutes. Game is really fun. I've put about 6000 hours into it since 09. It's Japan's COD, everyone plays it there. 4 player co-op no trading, no pvp, good balance.
