Games Like PoE

Borderlands 2 was a better playthrough... but lacks replay.

You want to quit cause you died at Innocence A5? C'mon...

Thank you all for the replies. And no I'm not quitting because I died in Act 5. I'm quitting because of the constant lag. You just can't play HC in this game with the constant freezes, rubberbands, and spikes.

Edit: Just bought and downloaded Borderlands 2. First time trying a looter shooter. I'll let yall know how it goes.

I'll throw in Last Epoch.
It's not finished, yet, though, but still in Beta with frequent patches, rebalance and imminent wipes.

Monster Hunter World.

The game is beyond good and will last you a long time. I put 1100 hours into it last year.

I played them all unfortunately nothing plays anywhere near as good as POE.

Borderlands 2 was far better then PoE. If Gearbox were to develop this game just as GGG is expanding PoE, I would not even hear about PoE. Fortunately, in less than half a year, Borderlands 3 will be released, just when patch 3.8 will appear. I really wonder what steamcharts will look like.

I wouldn't call it better. After doing 2 and a half playthroughs in Borderlands 1 I couldn't finish 2, I got 10 hours in and was so tired of seeing handsome jack's face and having to run past blisteringly overpowered enemies on my way to the next main quest with stupidly weak enemies. I have yet to get tired of path of exile in that way, although I did basically skip synthesis...
Since GGG has shit the bed so hard I've been playing Grim Dawn and Warframe and Archeage. Who needs POE? I haven't played this league hardly at all due to the constant disconnections and lags.

Personally I don't think GGG is going to recover. I look for them to go out of business this year.

I certainly don't expect them to fix the game I've given up. I stop bye here about every two weeks. Lol every two weeks the game can't be played.

Of well, back to another game of which there are many.
Warhammer CHaosbane is billed as a Diablo 3 PoE style game so that might count, opens in two weeks or so.

Diablo, Torchlight are pretty good.

I know its not quite the same isometric RPG but if you never played the Dark Souls series, you should. DS1 is a bad port but 2 and 3 are flawless. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is also amazing.

It might just be me but I found them similar in their own way to PoE, stats, positioning, weapon choices, moving on your feet.

Grim dawn is great but replayability I found is limited.

Let's admit it, POE is no longer RPG. POE is an online 3rd person shooter. Games like POE are Call of Duty, Far Cry, Medal of Honour, Wolfenstein etc. Also if you want to gamble and check your luck (POE has lots of it) you can try online casino and online poker. Sadly there are not ARPG like Titan Quest and Sacred anymore...

Don't believe the Hype!
