What is the chance of spawning a Master in a map?

I cannot seem to find this information anywhere, and I can only recall off the cuff things that were said but never mentioned in patch notes (or were removed from said patch notes).

- Masters have an equal chance to spawn in Maps (5 Masters - 20% chance to spawn the master you want)
- Masters do not spawn in every map (but how often to they spawn(?)
- Does having Atlas Objectives available impact any of this?
- New Atlas Objectives appear 20% of the time after map completion.

I feel like I want to burn a hundred or so maps just to calculate some of these numbers if they are not available. I am surprised if someone hasn't done this yet.

Can't find all the sources, so here is the main one:

"
In maps, overall master encounters have been increased from a 33% to a 40% chance. The chance to encounter any individual master is equally weighted across all five masters.

(...)

There is now a 20% chance (up from 16%) on completing a map to have an Atlas Objective appear. Again, the integration of Betrayal does not reduce the chance of the other options occurring.

Plus, the daily objective intro accouncement: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2251569

To my knowledge having an objective available has no effect nor impact the appearance of said master in a non-objective-containing map.

Ah cool, thanks Zphyr for that info. So we effectively have a 10% chance per map to get Niko!?

And we wonder why we cannot sustain delve, when delve is expansive, yet the odds to get delve required materials are so low. And the amount of sulphite you get, even in a T14+ map isn't enough to do much more diving than 30 minutes or so of delve...when it costs way over 1k sulphite to simply go to one SINGLE far node.

If GGG is going to leave the master spawns at such low levels, than at least lessen the sulphite required by a half or something.

Delve is "only" a side content and its very rewarding. If they made it more accessible they would "have to" reduce the rewards accordingly due to balance reasons.

you wan to play it more? No problem, you can play it all day long but prepare to invest in it (scarabs, prophecies.). You should be able to sustain in long run considering you play high quantity T15-16 maps and delve in mlvl 83 depths.

Think about it this way: T16 map has value of 15-20c, and you want solid roll, add chisels, sextants, zana mods etc. So the investment in one map run can be 25-30c or even more. Scarab costs around 60c now and on a well rolled T16 map it can yield you around 7k sulphite, which is a solid amount of delving in 300 depth.

Maybe the scarabs are so expensive because of high price of broken Dense fossils. They are pretty common and often drop in bulk from the stashes behind fractured walls.
