I would like to just do delve and not maps.

Just purchase few hundreds chisels/sextants bulk - it would be enough for days, may be week. You don't need vaals to sustain maps (but you also can buy them bulk).

I'm going through at least 40 maps per day... would be a LOT more if we weren't always pulled away. That's 160 chisel minimum.
Buying sextants is absolutely awful sadly, tried it, nearly nobody answers, no matter the price or stored amount.

I don't have any issues when i purchase sextants/chisels. I guess you are trying to buy only the cheapest ones, which are not real trade offers but scam made by price fixers.

It's around 50% of your total return over time though, a single ilvl 86 elder T1 base is worth several exalts after all, and you'll get 1 or 2 along the line.

How are you going to get lvl 86 bases in lvl 83 maps? You can get only +2 from rares/uniques. Anyway, as i already said, this is not needed to sustain maps. So if you have issues with influence - this is because you decided to use it, and not because it is needed.
retired from forum because of censorship and discrimination
(also poe2 bad)

Well without the extra rewards, just the same level as maps. It's just a better end game progression design. Mapping has just devolved from mediocre to hot garbage.

Boring. This is an ARPG, huge part of every ARPG is loot.
Without "extra rewards" delve would turn into defective version of mapping.
People don't pick regular loot while mapping. Currency, divination cards, maps, meta uniques and some shaper/elder items are all that really matters.

What you want is a little game. Run from point A to B to get nothing. Doing this is neither challenging nor fun. Darkness mechanic and rewards are all that really matters. It's risky, it's fun and it's rewarding (kinda, no idea why people glorify profit they can make in delve, i can make so much more without any effort in maps).

Correct, except it's not a defective form of mapping it's mapping with completion based progression, instead of random loot drop progression. I like delve so much better than mapping because in order to do the next part all you need it to be able to do the previous part, none of this other nonsense that arbitrarily gates content. So it would be just like mapping, because mapping is a defective version of Delve.

I don't care about the extra profit in either way, Delve is simply a better endgame model than maps. All the extra bells and whistles like boss encounters, fossils, and the darkness are fine and neat but it's just a better model of gameplay over maps.

As said, all quantities, all prices... well.. besides those roughyl 40-50% above initial pricing, which is already a MASSIVE disparity. Also I only search for bulk sellers starting with 50 sextants, should I need some again at least, which is more rare then chisels.

One of the very common sextant mods is the 500% quant for strongbox mobs one. If you get crap mods as the others you usually simply run the Ambush zana mod and a 'bountiful traps' prophecy. Alch every strongbox and you'll get sometimes in between +1 to +5 item level. So that's one way to get those, which becomes fairly common after running many many maps.
Even more likely if you're running a map with strongbox sextant and good other ones, then monstrous treasure is a viable choice, as well as elder/shaper scarab, map scarab and divination scarab for extra returns. You can switch out the divination scarab for a fragment as well, depending on the map.

Also, I don't have issues with influence, you're mixing up people posting. Though it adds another layer on things to look out for on top of all already existing ones. It will considerably slow down farming speed, a reason why I stopped it in Standard for the time being.
On the other hand it raises return-rate for each map as well as income/hour long-term.

players: we like delve, we want to play delve!

ggg: no. fuck you. play the forced content or fuck off. kind regards.

This pretty much sums it up.

Sadly... I don't know what GGG is thinking, though whatever it is... they should change their way immediately, it's awful, not fun, destroys the game ever so slowly.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.

Leaguesstones are an example of that as they didn't get added even when everyone loved them. Instead they got totally removed from the game exterminator style.

I think that they aim to keep the base game pretty "dull" while they launch there "new content league" with all the bells and whistles. They want us to play that league instead of anything else you are doing. so they bait with new op gear, challenges AND more (hopefully) enjoyable content.

I think maps also needs to be the center activity according to GGG since it provides so much clunkyness, inconvinience and micromanagement. It's basically a stash tab sellers wet dream.

At least that's my theory. We are all simply just numbers after all.
I agree. Let us do Delve non stop. Make a separate game even - PoE Delve. I would play it instead of PoE every day.

And Delve rewards are MUCH greater than maps or nexus or syndicate.

For the first six weeks of this league or so I just did maps and nexus and alva. So all content and a little bit of Delve.

I made about 1-2ex a day from this as an aurabot.

For the last two weeks I've just done Delve. Yesterday for example I had three cart loads and went from 530 to 609. My loot from yesterday - three hollow fossils (12ex), 36 T16 maps (3ex), 70 red and yellow maps (1ex), 1 elder ring, 1 shaper ring, about 40 fossils, tonnes of currency, 2 unique rings from Aul and architect.

So, 9 scarabs cost me about 3ex, leaving about 17 ex profit, about 7 ex will go to my carries. So 10 ex in a day AND no MF gear AND 1,000,000 more times ENJOYABLE than running t16 UGS for 1,000 times!

This is what is known as a no-brainer, yet no-brains characterises GGG in recent months!
I too would like this. I too would not mind if the loot explosion was reduced to be more in-line with mapping loot per hour. This was a huge topic near the end of the Delve league. I doubt if GGG will do such a thing but think it would be great if they did.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
