Well duh. Like we all didn't know already that GGG wants trading to frustrating and slow, yet they balance their game around trading.. and you talk about balance.. lul
No idea what you talking about. I have no issues while buying 10ex+ items.
So you posted your photo and no one is laughing.

Move on.

This "balance around trading" is old, especially if you look at the SSF ladder. GGG balances their game based on the ability to buy and sell, yes - mainly to increase the value of drops. They (luckily) don't want trading to be everything, so they have an entry cost to it.

If you stop looking at this game as a currency simulator, and learn how to play, you don't need to trade much. Trade when you really have to and play the freakin' game.

lol they have clearly stated that the game will never be balanced around SSF, yet you try to use SSF as some kind of "argument". 1/10 for good effort.

I never said the game is balanced around SSF. Because it's not. Don't put words in my mouth. I just said that the SSF ladder is a good example that it's more than possible to play this game without being dependent on trade.

Hell, I even wrote that this game is balanced around the ability to buy and sell items. What the hell is wrong with you?

Balancing the game around trade and giving you access to everything with the push of a button are tow different things. If you play the freakin' game, know what you're doing and trade once in a while when you have to, the current trade system is more than enough. But if you look at this game as a currency simulator, where the only goal is to make money? Of course you'll complain.

That said, the current system isn't good. But it's far better for THE GAME than an automated auction house.

So what you're saying is that we should have the console version with a few obvious QoL updates and all the jokes are done?

Its balanced in how GGG see's trade should be, eg terrible. Ontop of that UI is a major weakness for GGG in every element of the game so it suffers from that as well.

How GGG sees it, yes. You can call it crap, other people view it as good for the game as a whole. It all comes down to how you want the game to be. If you have no problem with buying everything? Sure, you'd advocate for an AH. If you prefer doing things yourself and only trade when you really have to, a limited trade system will be better - because drop rates and in-game progression will always be a result of how easy/efficient trading is.

When it comes to UI, you are spot on. GGG are bad when it comes to UI. But that's not the reason why you guys feel trade is crap.

Then I misunderstood, sorry. I haven't tried it, because I can never see myself playing a hack'n slash game with a controller. But in my mind, trading needs to be limited in some way or another. I don't think neither the PC version or console version are doing it perfect. There's room for improvement for both.

But an automated AH is not an improvement for the GAME.
