The game runs better on console than the PC version when it comes to performance. I just did some testing on my own PS4 Pro feels so much smoother. It’s a waste of money getting a PC with a 1060gtx or lower unless you need it for school.
Hopefully I helped a few of you in deciding whether or not to purchase a console... I don’t have an Xbox so I can’t comment on their version. Questions comments concerns feel free to ask. "Another... No matter how many people claiming "controller is fine and actually smooth", I will never play a Hack'n Slash title without my trusted keyboard and mouse.
Besides, I haven't had a console since I got a PS1 for Christmas in '99. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

My 1060 in my otherwise 6 year old machine seems perfectly competent for running PoE. Sure, framerate can dunk when you start pounding on an, "allies cannot die", pack, but otherwise it seems perfectly serviceable. Plus 2-5 second load times for maps, because SSD. Plus mouse + keyboard.

I can’t comment on the One X, but legacy Xbone without an SSD is complete crap. I have played Warframe along with some other games that push the envelope performance wise for the console for a few years with no issues. POE on the other hand has horrible performance and feels completely unoptimized for the console.

Unless you're into self found then by all means stick to the PS4.
OFC you could spend 140c on shit that's 3-4c on PC. The trade econ is a world of shit right now. Lioneye's glare is going for 200c right now while CwDt this guy wanted 1exa It's a fucking shit show and GGG is to blame by gating the in-game trade board selling behind a paywall. That's really fucked up. At least give one of the four tabs a premium so people can sell. |

My observations so far for the console version.
Their EU server is pretty shit, it's listed as Amsterdam and i know GGG's PC server gets be a solid 35ms on it. Forced auto networking mode, causing stuttering AND rubberbanding.(see shit server) And the PS4 version crashes...a lot, where as teh PC version just dose not crash for me. Also, the performance has been fine on the PC It sounds more to me that the problem in most cases is settings on the PC/game fucking over a user, something the console version dose not need to deal with because it is rigidly set and the hardware is standard.
