You haven't been paying attention if you honestly believe Activision will put the proper people in place to make Diablo 4 a POE killer.

Thats literally all they have to do, and then PoE falls back into its niche playerbase category, which would probably make a large portion of the old guard here happy. PoE will never die; F2p games dont die. They make too much money. There will always be a dedicated fanbase willing to keep it alive. Tons of dead in the water MMO's are still operating to this day because they swapped to F2p models. But D4 will hurt the playerbase. But, by the time that releases, time may have did more damage to PoE than D4 will. |

Diablo will not have to do anything, poe will either die or kill itself by then.

some friends here are a bit obsess about diablo in general, the simple fact that most of the high iq friends constantly target any different qol change or change in general that doesnt involve paying money for it means it's another diablo direction.
like I said before in some pages ago, only something that activision created can destroy activision.. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

i dont think diablo mobile (diablo4) will kill poe. but ok.

While Blizzard as a name still carries lot of weight, do people honestly still believe they can deliver actual sustainable quality?
In order to fight PoE they have to fight with 7 years of content. Releasing D4 and put occasional patch ain't enough. And judging by the last 2-3 years, Blizzard ain't exactly gaining trust. |
