any solutions ?

Not sure why you're posting in a thread relating to Australia.

There are latency spikes of up to 600ms between your PC and your home router. This is enough to pull your average latency from 1ms to up 24ms. This is likely causing your lag spikes.
Unfortunately I'm not seeing anything clearly amiss from the WinMTR captures provided, which is going to make it tricky to find out where the problem is.

Trends I'm seeing are:
  • Many of the people have "MATE" as their ISP.
  • Connectivity is going through Vocus pretty much the entire trip

My ISP is Optus, and I know some others who aren't with Vocus who have issues. According to the WinMTR I posted, my connection is going routing via Telstra primarily, not Vocus.
From Auckland, New Zealand.

Is there anyone else on Optus? Multiple reports will help.

This is the first time I have ever seen someone mention Optus in relation to this issue. I think this person is having a different issue, because in my experience 100% of the people reporting the exact same issue as everyone else is with a Vocus ISP. Mate Communicate, iPrimus, and Dodo.

I had a friend switch ISP over this issue, he swapped from iPrimus to Telstra, and the issue disappeared completely for him. This leads me to believe that the issue is with Vocus 100%, and seems to be related to traffic sent from your servers to theirs.

This is what bugs me. Nothing seems amiss with any traceroute I've done or seem on the issue. But the effects in game make it completely unplayable..
EDIT: Disregard, slightly irrelevant to the ISP's mentioned in the OP. Unfortunately those ISP's don't have the best customer service so getting them to do something on their end about the VOCUS issue would seem impossible :(

I can't find the thread or messages at the moment but I had terrible latency issues in AU, eventually my ISP (Shout out to Aussie Broadband for caring about gamers) blocked routing through the softlayer servers that were causing the issue and I got a nice clean route, went from 50-100ms back to 16ms that it used to be.

The issue isn't necessarily Vocus, the problem is everyone just uses Vocus. They are a business/enterprise provider who own alot of infrastructure, a large number of major companies & data centers utilize Vocus infrastructure & services. You will find alot of things that point to Vocus, but it is primarily because everyone in the private sector leases or wholesales from them. GGG's host probably uses a vocus service in some capacity, their data centers are probably tied into the vocus network, and they probably use the Vocus link between NZ & Australia. Half of that traffic simply isn't possible without involving vocus, it doesn't mean they are the culprit it just means they're heavily involved in the routing so their name will pop up everywhere.

I'm not saying they aren't the issue, I'm just saying you would expect to see their name popping up allover the place when looking at these sorts of links, regardless if they were the culprit or not.

Personally, this League I've been having unstable connection on Telstra services & TPG services alike, but Optus 4G hot-spotting has actually been near-flawless.

Hmm. Interesting. I must admit my understanding of it is somewhat limited. Thanks for the insight.
