We now have proof that streamers get special drop rates. This is unacceptable.

Of the four streamers on Baeclast, only one reported having really good map luck this league while the others all said they were struggling with map progression/sustain. Sounds like some people get lucky and some don't. /shrug

Their idea of struggling =/= the average players idea of struggling, they are racing to 100 not being able to chain 13+ is struggling, there are plenty of players that struggle to get any pool of reds every league regardless of hours spent.

Considering GGG use maps as the gate system for every single mechanic they should really do something to stop those of us that struggle from having to push through terrible streaks, if i'm using chisels/corrupting T8 + sextants there is a problem.

Now they could do something about that by removing slipstreams from the sextant pool but still something more concrete would be great.

From my own perspective It frustrates me for two reasons, firstly there is nothing I can do beyond what I already am to increase my drop rate and secondly the games content is setup in such a way that anything below red tier feels completely worthless so I feel like my times being wasted.

I'll push through as always but meh :p

I can be a dick and say.

How many of the complainers are modifying their maps to the extend you are and still visiting the forums complaining about drop rates though?

It's impossible to not sustain maps, it's also impossible to not go up in tiers.
If you know how you can leverage the mapping system that is.

The only difference is time, some do it in a day and others in a week.

Where can i read up on this new definition?

the new definition of proof:

Having vague unverifiable "evidence" of something I want to be true

hope that helped
I dont see any any key!

Boem is right in one thing - you WILL progress, it is just a matter of time.

HOWEVER, in this league, the time it was taking to progress was way to high, on average, in time required. Sure, if you play like a job, no problemo. But if you play like a hobby, it was noticeable.

When I am at level 86 a week in and have only completed the entirety of a tier up to 2, and have only gotten one type of T7 and two types of T6 maps to drop, the bad luck is flowing strong or there is a drop issue. One of the REASONS I am only 86 is that I am running T4 maps on average rather than T10 maps which is where I would usually be by now.

Never in all my years have I had a problem filling out white map tiers. Shit, I still haven't gotten the third map for Zana's quest line to drop yet. A week!

I always stood by the point that all it took was one good night to give your progression a kick in the ass and get it going. And it always held true - but this league was grinding me down.

The other interpretation is the map "nerf" was totally negligible in terms of progression for people who know how to roll maps and know how to adapt to slightly smaller map pool and still ssf level to 100 (like streamers).

GGG has admitted that they nerfed map drops to unsustainable levels. Yet if you look at any streamer, they have been easily sustaining high red maps in SSF. This would be impossible for us normal players, even sustaining T5 maps was impossible with the nerfed drops.

We already know they get easier 6 links, but now we know they get more maps too. All to fool people watching into thinking that PoE is a balanced game. Wake up sheeple, GGG is lying to us.

Roll good maps and optimize run times as a fulltime job and see how many maps you can drop as well.

Comparing a casual's playtime to one who plays for 8-16 hours a day speed grinding end-game content for your entertainment is a piss poor way to gauge drop rates.

By statistics alone they kill an exponentially larger amount of higher level mobs than your average player in any given hour.

More kills = More Drops

I am struggling to find anything that even comes close to proof here.
Imagine if it was true. Would you actually care? Why should that be unacceptable?

Its not like companies wouldnt ever sponsor people to get their products promoted.
The only thing affected would be the ladder. And the majority of the people are not up there on any ladder.
