We now have proof that streamers get special drop rates. This is unacceptable.

" That alone is a fucking problem : if everyone is playing the same but some people get their luck reversed then those people at the bad half suffer while the the people on the good half don't have any problems going into their 'bad'...it's like running low on ammo in a gun fight against someone still trying to unpack their gun from the crate. They'll be dead before they can get to it. If anything the RNG into maps shouldn't be so RNG gated: the gear/currency inside should be gated (and already heavily is...). They kinda already are doing this with Memories, although the drop rates suck, so they're WELL aware of what the fuck their doing... Last edited by LeetbakaDX#3749 on Mar 18, 2019, 10:23:19 AM

No lifers have more maps than casuals. Yup, checks out.
Proof! |

" Or maybe thats the problem, SSF is getting better drops, not just the streamers? This has been something i have been thinking for awhile, even though GGG said this would NOT be the case. IGN:Axe_Crazy

" The thing is though when I read discussions on drop rates, is that people complaining about drop rates, 6l chance, etc., etc., is that most of these things are fairly balanced eith the idea that they need to keep the carrot hard enough to get that they horse doesn't get fat and lazy. Too cheap and easy 6l or chadr unique drops, no longer have as many players period. Yeah said player may go try another character but will eventually tire out because it is too easy to get the drops you need, too easy to max out a character to perfection, too cheap too easy to max 100. Yes some people unfortunately get lucky in the current scenario, but that luck is what keeps us enticed. More importantly is time though not RNG. In many of the cases that luck/rng come into play, what we see are not people consistently benefiting more than others, but that they play enough to have enough experience, have enough time to simply force rng and by extension luck irrelevant and also look like they are super lucky to viewers. Ignore that some streamers take in in-game donations, that just makes the balance worse. But a typical big time streamer is playing many hours more than you a day. If any random player can and is playing just as experienced and fast as a streamer, there is likely no difference in "luck" between the two in terms of "luck" per hour played. 1000 hours for a streamer, even if obviously quicker to finish those hours, will probably not the same drop value/ 6ls etc. As the joe schmoe 1000 hours. There is no massively bad luck half after a long enough time frame. After this comparison, yeah we do have many many players that either can't play as fast or knowledged that wish they could, but GGG can't nerf the game down to a level that would benefit anybody better than them without them getting bored. Private leagues having harder options isn't really an alternative unless they were made free to make. You make the game too easy for the top, they get bored and leave. And you run the risk of making it too easy for others and they find something else as well. Now I will admit, if you are a competitive person, this sucks. All things the same, you cannot possibly beat somebody on ladders or races that plays 10 hours for every 1 hour you play. You cant get richer than them unless you do get rng lucky and get more mirrors or something to outpace them and so on. Maybe they could impliment a fairer ladder of most experience gained per total time playing or something for those that care about ladders, post races split winners into categories of how long they actually played that race. Somebody who wants to compete but only can play an hour or 2 a day should not expect to lose fairly to somebody who stayed up 2 days straight and played 4 to 5 hours a day in a 1 week race. They will always be "cheated" by the game and it's current set up and that includes experience gain, loot, and by extent gear maximizing. I experienced a similar problem when I was trying to make sure I got all 3 challenge mtx every 3 months. I. Didn't. Have. Time. I was giving up other things outside of the game to finish up each league. GGG is comfortable with how difficult challenges are, and how frequent 6l and how hard it is to max a character to 100. They are not going to change, so my expectations needed to change. I have stuck to standard now since incursion I think and played other games. The game is infinitely more enjoyable when you set your parameters to what you can healthily manage. You have to take a step back and look at the collective picture, not just you or other people complaining about the same "problem" and how that means it definitely needs to be changed. Some things are genuinely problems, others are not. But as long as the game stays profitable for GGG, they ultimately decide that, we don't. I didn't know the world revisited the definition of the word "proof".
Where can i read up on this new definition? Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" Their idea of struggling =/= the average players idea of struggling, they are racing to 100 not being able to chain 13+ is struggling, there are plenty of players that struggle to get any pool of reds every league regardless of hours spent. Considering GGG use maps as the gate system for every single mechanic they should really do something to stop those of us that struggle from having to push through terrible streaks, if i'm using chisels/corrupting T8 + sextants there is a problem. Now they could do something about that by removing slipstreams from the sextant pool but still something more concrete would be great. From my own perspective It frustrates me for two reasons, firstly there is nothing I can do beyond what I already am to increase my drop rate and secondly the games content is setup in such a way that anything below red tier feels completely worthless so I feel like my times being wasted. I'll push through as always but meh :p |

" Actually, no, you don't know that. You imagine it. You should put some effort into learning the difference between what you actually know and what is just bullshit that has been made up. It will serve you well in life. Last edited by Qiox#1561 on Mar 18, 2019, 11:04:22 AM
