Same problem here.

Actually, saw this thread two days ago https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2452590 that poits to a dll related to nvidia GPUs and decided to try the game in my integrated GPU. Turns out it's a NVidia related problem as the game worked fine in my intel graphics card.

yes but they are crashing on game startup, i only crash when i load up a character. game runs fine till then.
also im not sure its nvidia based issue because aegis can play just fine on the same internet with a nividia graphics card but i cant. (pc's are like 2 ft apart maybe.) so if it were nvidia it'd affect both of us theoreticly.
+!

Game is completely unplayable. I've reinstalled etc and nothing changes. Guess I'll have to play one of my other titles like Warframe till GGG fixes this or goes out of business, whichever they are planning.

I don't understand things pretty much, but it worked for me and might work for you... I was always crashing after loading twilight strand and any other area of the game on my standard characters, pretty much like you...

Also, I think the crashes affect everyone with NVidia GPUs or at least the older ones, but how frequently it happens depends on hardware, as my friends with gtx 950 and 960 seems to crash around 3 to 5 times a day.
+1 my client started crashing after "crash fix" patch. fix this ggg

aegis has a nvidea card. he has played quite a bit and has not crashed at all. he lags a bit but not crashing so it cant be affecting everyone with nvidia. that and i dont have another graphics card to use so i cant try to change graphics cards.

also update, i have uninstalled through steam and reinstalled form the websight. logged in just fine, same as before with everything and still crashing as soon as my char loads.
Bump. Still happening.

EDIT:
Though this might actually just be my graphics card not supporting dx11 hardware stuff. Oh well. T_T
