And because I just finished planting the rest of the live plants and putting in the Princess castle for my Betta girls.. here is the tank the stingray lives in (well most of it).

hope u bought plant food for the plants or they prob will not last over 1 month.
plants are a good extra source of oxygen for the fish, and shelter, and possibly food (depending on the types of fish in there, mollys and platies love plants).

also, is the driftwood in there fake or real? if your PH drops, it might be because of the driftwood if its real. over time as it decays it might drop the PH to dangerous levels for your fish. a bit of crushed coral will help buffer the PH if this happens.

also... the "stingray" is really a loach like you saw, sorta like the common plecos you might see. they like algae and sinking pellets occasionally. but due to their small size and soft exterior which is unlike the common pleco, it and the betas might get harassed too often by the rainbow shark.

rainbow sharks tend to be semi-aggressive towards smaller fish and fish with longer fins. he might nip at the fins. and possibly stress the small fish out till they die. watch to make sure its not really all that aggressive. as rainbow sharks grow to adulthood they usually become more aggressive.

unless they grow up in same tank as babys then they might get along with others as adults.

try frozen bloodworm cubes for the betas and rainbow shark, they love them, maybe even your soft pleco would like it.

ive owned many freshwater fish tanks for around 9 years now ;]. so interesting.
