Is the in-game camera/ POV fixed?

I don't mind the camera distance, but the angle is bugging me so much I stopped playing for several months. The angle should be lower, the same as when fully zoomed in. Or at least give us an option to choose between 2-3 different angles.

And is it against the rules for me to simply edit the file to allow further zooming? It's an extremely easy task and I'm unsure why you guys forced a zoom cap.

I just stoped playing for a while now, because i found camera to high up and too close. I will probably come back in a 5-8 months or in a year to see, if there will be improvement on that. And main reason is, that is just too close for so much going on on different areas, with high mob density and spell effect going on. My head hurts, because of that most of the time.

Just my 2cp worth. I don't mind the fixed camera so much, it's not good but it's not a deal breaker.
Having a postage stamp sized view of the world IS a deal breaker however. Not about to spend hours on a game where you can't see further than you can spit, sorry. |
