I agree on the fact this chest make the righteous fire/pain attunment way too easily. BUT, IMO, the problem is not this chest.

The problem is righteous fire. 105% More spell damage for one spell is wayyyyyy too much.

Solutions:
-Change how works the degen (50% hp + 50% ES per second) to break down the ES rightous fire build (and buff the full hp righteous fire build)
Or
-Nerf to the ground the spell damage - > 11 + 1 per lvl More spell damage. (30 at lvl 20)
Or
-Nerf to the ground #2 the spell damage -> 105 increased (and not MORE) spell damage.

This chest is really good, but the real problem is just righteous fire. If you had only pain attumnent, how many of you would play a low life build?

And I still take this chest over any other chests to places with chaos damage, with all builds that use ES. Why,because your 2k-3k ES become equivalent of life. This chest on almaust any non EB witch grants 1k ES. Rightous fire is not only problem.

Good for you, can you tell me why your ES is more "equivalent of life" than a CI ES?

Because you have to invest for chaos resistance? Oh yeah, you are right!

Ps: The life lost because of CI is way way less important than the ES lost because you could go a better chest. A 600 or 700 ES chest is already better. And some 900+ ES chest actually exist.

There's ONE person who's level 93. Derp.

Using a 113 point build in your argument is ridiculous... it wouldn't be viable for literally 99.99% of the player population.

There's one 93 and two 92s. Go look at the ladders under the events tab before spouting bs.

If the build is so good, go make it.
This unique ES chest will only be useful for builds which use Zealot's Oath. It's basically a ZO keystone chest. Without ZO and without CI, you'll cringe when you get viper striked because your ES won't be able to recover on it's own until after 12 seconds, during which 4 viper charges can melt you to death without you having any hope of recovering.

Trust me, CI with chaos immunity and ES is still better than an ES build with this chest, poor chaos resists and no ZO or poor investment in life regen nodes.

Sure except 2k HP/3k ES with hp pots against 5k-6k ES without,If you thinking chaos damage is only DoT effect in the game, you are wrong and CI just wrecked by puncture and burning,(oh you also gain elemental effects and stun resistance naturaly). Not saying the time you gain 4kES with CI you might as well get your chaos resistances to -30%. I dunno if even it would be balanced enough if chest itself would have just local 1 ES. At least you taking out one of best sources for ES to counter other effects.

so, with 2k HP and 3k ES, what are you trying to accomplish with this chest? i don't see what your point is

-Damage nodes? Gear + Iron Will + Righteous Fire (over 105% spell dmg multiplier) + Pain Attunement (blood magic robe + 3 reduced mana 40% auras = low life condition fulfiled). Who needs damage nodes in that case?

Explain to me how you're going to wear the Covenant and Shavronne's Wrappings at the same time. Last time I checked, you couldn't wear two sets of armour at once

Prism Guardian? Now we're talking, but that's a totally different item, and also a pretty valuable one. Good luck scraping together the funds for those two (Redbeak is probably pretty cheap). Prism Guardian provides a very nice resist chunk, so you won't need to invest in passive resists as heavily, though it does not provide much ES - your shoes/gloves/helm will "need" to be close to perfect ES-wise to get enough.

Then, once you're level 68 and have all those equipped, you can dump your HP passives with regrets/quest rewards (remember, you have to get to a high-enough level to equip these items first). Put half of the HP into ES, half into offence or a couple more resists. You'll have excellent offence and passable survivability.

I do see the unique as being extremely strong in the right builds. Meh, so is Kaom's Heart.

Lol, this armor looks perfect for your RF build.

Run it with Prism Guardian and Redbeak. You can easily double your damage.
