How does crit work with Incinerate?

I'm playing an incinerate Witch right now, and I think the key to using Incinerate effectively is to increase its range with projectile speed. Right now, I am using Incinerate-FasterProj-LMP and also wearing a Karui Ward, so the range on my Incinerate is long enough that I can pretty much reach any mob on screen from where I am standing. This means that enemies are usually dead before they get a chance to reach me. I also use a Decoy Totem and Enfeeble to buy me some time to ramp up my Incinerate.

I'm playing an incinerate shadow right now, with a 20% lvl 17 gem and the aforementioned Karui Ward. Using Incinerate-LMP-FirePen-KnockBack-Lifeleech. I'm practically immune to melee, including rhoas, goats and golems. I need never worry about time unless I'm against cheesy ranged units, like arcwhores, snakes, or alchemists. Being CI helps. Mana sustain comes from soulstealer, and lifeleech at the fourth stage is ridiculous.

All I need is a way to deal with pesky ranged guys, so fire trap and flame totem. Oh, and Fireball for sniping.
Ive recently started a Scion Incinerate build, Im having a blast and im doing tremendous amounts of damage. Even though its only normal mode so far im still shredding bosses and elites like they are nothing.

My gear consist of Evasion/Energy shield, which will allow me to just stand there and evade everything. So far so good! Only hope to find even more Evasion/Energy gear.
Playing an incinerate iron will maruader in nemesis. got 120% projectile speed its an absolutely monster and is turning into one of my best HC build is up there with my Aegis aurora build
