"Fixing" lab enchants

i dont like the idea of an orb for lab echants,but ino adding the option too chose the new or the old enchantment when you reenchant an item would be cool

orb would be a great quality of life improvement for everyone. The lab farmers, the people who are trying to buy an enchant.

It would also make less popular builds have easier access to their respective enchants.

My only qualm with this is that you'd have to collect 3 orbs every uber lab for the boots/helm/gloves.

As far as the baeclast, I'm not entirely sure what Chris meant when he said 'fix' lab enchants. He wasn't being too specific, but based on the context, I feel he was referring to certain lab enchants causing way larger power spikes for some skills moreso than others, and by fix he meant bringing all of the enchantments more inline with each other. Whether this is referring to a buff for unpopular or a nerf for popular ones such as tornado shot, we will have to wait and see.

With Synthesis coming up and the new implicits on synthesized items, I'd sure prefer to buy the orb, rather than hope some lab farmer just happens to hit on the right enchant with just the right synthesized implicits - we're entering a realm of lightning strike probabilities with the upcoming league.

Thats why "Smart" Lab Farmers chant on shit besides just Starkonja's and Devoto's... WAYYY more returns on your investment. imo anyway. Why would i chant on the same shit everyone else does? So im stuck trying to compete with ALL those other people? If im gonna burn all that time farming that shit i want the most out of it and that means chanting on either high ilvl bases or shit thats already crafted or good to start with.

I want to 100% insure not only will it sell but it sells for a good price. No Chant sells for the good prices on those helms.. again because EVERYONE already does those. Be just a tiny little bit creative and next thing you know you are swimming in exalts from helm chants alone already right now as it is.. im pretty sure lab farmers are more than compensated for their time. Some of which ill remind you are already getting paid to do the runs to start with via carries especially early league..

Keep in mind this is coming from someone who also has a GG Horror Crafted Elder Helm perfect crafted for RF ive had for like 3 or 4 leagues now and hit that thing well over 500 times at this point fishing for that RF chant.. I dont need an easier way to force a specific chant on my already over the top item.. Its the more than fair price i should be paying for NOT opting to Craft on a Base already loaded with the Chant.. i certainly learned my lesson but at the same time the implications of just forcing ANY chant at ANY time on ANY item.. That defeats any choice at that point. At that point all this orb would do is.. go out and find your perfect for you item, now go find your perfect chant orb, buy them both, congrads you just destroyed any and all point of half the game. The way it works now it forces you into a choice.. something this game is already losing more and more of and thats not a good thing guys..

You want a specific Chant on a specific Unique Item? Well their "Unique" for a reason. And again right back to just forcing any chant on anything at anytime just that easy? Undermines the entire point of allocation of Chants.. Undermines the balance of chants vs itemization and allocation. Making things just as easy as match the best chant with the best item and done isn't going to help shit in the long run people like myself are already finding less and less to keep us in leagues as it is.. They have already made more than enough shit easier than it needs to be to do.
