Upcoming League: Pathfinder vs. Deadeye for a Piscator's Wander

Hello out there,

I am planning to run a wander (again) for the upcoming league, I know it is not the best to go for from the beginning by I simply LOVE it - since back than where Crown of Eyes + LL 30%more damage node worked togather [dreams aways...]

Anyway: The type of wander I plan for this league is different. I plan to definetly go with Piscator's and Queen of the Forst as Key items + Jewels sockets for getting lightning damage.

Just a big question I ask myself: Deadeye or Pathfinder?

Deadeye-SummedUp

Norm Lab: Gathering Winds (Tailwind!!)
Cruel Lab: Far Shot (30% Inc. Projspeed + FarShot)
Merci Lab: Powerful precision (Tripli pierce / 100%crit against pierced targets / Piece all nearby target)
Uber Lab: Endless Munitions (+250Acc rating / 50% AoE / 1 more proj.)
+ 20% crit chance (way node)
+ 50% inc. projectile damage (way node)
+ 30% global acc rating (way node)

Pathfinder-SummedUp

Norm Lab: Nature's Boon (6% reduced ele damage, 3 charges per 3s, 20% chance to not consume flask charge)
Cruel Lab: Master Alchemist ( Immune to Ailments during flask / 40% inc. eledamage during flask / 20% chance to freez, shock, ignite durink flask)
Merci Lab: Veteran Bowyer (Damage pen. 10% ele Res, 100% inc. charges from killed enemies which have ailement / 10% of phys. damage as extra damage - doesnt really count as I will use piscators)
Uber Lab: Natures Adrenaline

Also an option: Go for Master Surgeon - But I dont really see a good point to do so, nor do I see a point which of the nodes to drop - most likely veteran Bowyer
+ 20% inc. flask effect
+ 16% inc. flask duration
+ 20% inc. flask charges gained

And one more thing: If I go for Pathfinder, I will definetly need "pierce nodes" which costs me 3 skillpoints.

So my opinion: I tend to go deadeye, on the other hand, pathfinder also seems to be pretty pretty strong. I am quite sure when I have endgame gear (dying sun / Vinktar's) that Pathfinder is stronger.

But as a league starter, I would prefer going for Deadeye (I know, KB is a bad league starter, but I dont feel like starting as anything else).

What do you guys think?

Convenience is probably deadeye because of pierce or chain. Pathfinder scales more with uber gear.

Raider is also a solid choice for a cheapskate wander :)

I would probably not start as pathfinder due to the requirements in terms of expensive flasks (dying sun). You could always respec into it later.

Well, I thought about raider too at some point.

I really don't know why, but I have seen noone playing a raider.

Coreitems of this build will be Queen of the forest + Piscators...

I agree with you, that you definetly have more benefit from a Pathfinder in the later stage.

But for leveling, I guess deadeye is alot more convenient... thanks for your input
Last time I played a Piscator's build it was a scion because of reflect my ass.

Word, but I do not intend to play HC, moreover, just reroll ele reflect maps should be fine.

The loss of movement speed is just to big when picking scion

That is the only downside but a really ugly downside I admit.

Yes... I want to reach level 100 with this char and only wanted to speedmap - that's why I would most likely not go for a scion... Thanks for the input though
I'd personally start with raider, seeing how you get juicy onslaught, more evade chance and free frenzies = lots of super movement speed without a QOTF (getting a 6link eva armour is easier than getting a 6link qotf).

Which points would you suggest from the raider wheel?

I would personally tend to link my Onslaught-Gem to HoI setup, which would also give me onslaught. Frenzies on kill from Bloodrage. So Raider doesnt give me to much of a help
Deadeye is good to start.
Parhfinder is better lv95+ with right gear.
But Raider is great, and you get the Ele Ailment Immunity. Plus Frenzy charges on Bosses are huge!
