Memes aside, for bosses it seems better.
Granted I beat Shaper with Arc Traps, and still need to kill 3 Guardians (including "invisible clouds" Chimera) to try with Vortex.

When you can slow or even freeze a T14+ boss while dealing a ton of damage over time to it - it becomes a safer fight than running and trapping.
Especially with things like Bonechill that serve the dual purpose of both slowing the boss and making it take more damage.

Hmmm, I think chimera is the easiest one because he doesn't deal high damage spikes, the only guardian that I sometimes have a hard time with is minotaur when I miss the point when the mofo goes underground.

Doesn't look like that, on my PC.

if you look at my screenshot, the cloud is actually at the top. the thing that looks like blood stains in the shade? that's it. barely visible. and he was there.

this is why Chimera fight is almost impossible for me now.
I love the mechanics. he's the best, most intense Guardian fight in my opinion.
but this one fucking shading bug, makes me fail most of the times I try to beat him, or die 4 times and beat him with sheer luck - like I did now.

It's in the shade -- though I never think precision in that phase, I just try to push through the cloud areas as fast as possible to minimize the chance of getting spiked.

I've died to syndicate post nerf -- typically in situations where there was so much junk on the screen that it would be hard to make out anything.

I ended up locking my league main's safehouses unintentionally and just kept them that way to level solo without unwanted and unexpected surprises.
