Guardian Of The Phoenix went down easier than a Fortification

It was probably the easiest Guardian fight I ever did. I almost felt sorry for the poor bastard.
Vortex is great. better than Arc Traps.

And the Fortification in the exact same map was a fuckn brutal, long fight where I almost died twice.

Betrayal balance in a nutshell.

all guardian fights are easy except sometimes chimera. why? because the mechanics, when known, are very easy. much like how shaper is a joke.

betrayal mobs are not as locked down by mechanics as guardian fights.

Phoenix was the toughest guardian for me as MS jugg. I died like 4 times killing him but haven't died to any of the other guardians.

Syndicate hasn't been much of a problem on this toon since there's usually enough mobs that my lgoh keeps up with any damage spikes that may happen, had a lot of trouble with my lightning trap toon though, but he was also squishy as hell..

The fortication doors have more health than shaper. It's almost like busting them down would yield more rewards but you usaully just lose 10% exp lickity split.

It's called a "one shot", Apathy.
Maybe you've heard of it.

The bastards in that Fort did damage comparable to Vaal Temple Trio.
Phoenix is supposed to be the most dangerous thing in that map.

On the one hand, I think he has the most predictable attack patterns among Guardians, and once I put Temporal Chains on him and kept chilling him with Votexes - there's nothing he could do about it. He was desperately swinging from one degen pool to another.

On the other hand he's probably the worst thing your MS build can encounter - melee, hits hard, resistant to fire, attacks faster than Minotaur, so not much time to stand close and DPS him.

I have an MS Juggernaut as well.
Not there yet but did have a bit of an issue with Lighthouse boss, who follows similar patters.

Try to lower his res with flammability or slow him down with temp chains, so you can hit him more.

More health than Shaper is a bit of an exaggeration, but yeah that's one high quality wooden door for sure.

Once I got inside, I quickly found myself fighting 3 guys doing Vaal Temple Trio levels of damage, in an arena 1/3 the size of Vaal Temple, and 1/4 the size of a Safehouse.
Thank the Vortex gods they were slowed enough to avoid.
