ok i see ur point with ci bv chieftain.

i tried to make a competitive alternative to ci howa ms jugg.

btw i made a change thanks to the tectonic slam tree that u posted. i noticed that i forgot to skill lava lash. and shield charge will be faster than leap slam.

so heres the final tree:

This is strong.
I want to make amulets, belts and rings the best.

I examined about CI + Howa + Molten Strike + Jugg.
I thought it was a very strong build.
However, it was not so attractive as it is a build where many players are playing.

Compared to Sprinkler and Howa, Howa may be stronger.
Sprinkler who has fun thinking is more attractive.

look what ive found. extremely cheap and close to howa:

It is low cost except watcher's eye.
This is a build I 'd like to try
can this build somehow be adapted to storm brand. I know i know, but maybe not chiftain mb scion?

I think that it can be made for storm brand.
The sotrm brand has a lot of necessary passive.
Runebinder, Explosive Runes, Runesmith ....
str is 200 to 300 reduced.
For this reason ES will be reduced from 2000 to 3000.
DPS also goes down.

Why I chose chiftain without using scion
chiftain has fire damage leech
chiftain can leech without using warlord mark
chiftain can use "enfeeble on hit" of the glove.
It becomes a tankey by this thing.

chiftain has 100% fire resi.

I think str will be higher for scion.
However, it is difficult to secure an elemental resist.
What you need for warlord mark ring is high str, high elemental resist and ES.
This can not be made with multicraft.

Thanks for your comment.

Hi, I've been following your thread with the idea of doing something similar for the next patch. I love attribute scaling builds (I did HoWA in delve) and wanted to do one with a self cast spell this league since they are focusing on them.

With addition of ES leech to the skill tree, I'm thinking occultist or inquisitor may be a viable option combined with a phys conversion and str stacking (some of the new skills convert damage on their own, also it has been mentioned other notables on the passive tree will allow for conversion). Do you think these will be viable, and better than a chieftan next league?

thank you

I have read the patch notes.
I think that Chieftain is the best choice when using Fire Blade vortex.
Passive conversion does not work.
Passive 3 points are necessary to get ES Leech.
With passive 3 points ES 500 and DPS 1-2% increase.

I thought about other STR spell builds.
Critical compatibility is bad for STR builds.
Critical Inquisitor will not be strong.
I do not know Inquisitor using Elemental Overload.

Essence Drain Occupationist may be strong.
You can get a lot of Increased Damage.
However, passive "+ xx% to Non-Silent Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier" can not be obtained much.
It is an important mod in chaotic dot build.
There are also big merits.
Elder Maces has "3% increased Area of Effect per 50 Strength".
Contagion's AOE will be very powerful.
It will be a valuable build to think about.

Trickster Spark seems interesting.
I do not know whether it is strong.
Farm uses Spark. The boss uses Lightning Spire Trap.

Let's enjoy the new league.
Hello , im interested use this build for 3.6 : what you think about after nerf still will work good for all content ? thanks

This build is very tanky.
It does not change in version 3.6.
Blade vortex DPS 20 - 25% lower.
I was using Increased area of effect gem in T16 map farm.
If you change it to Immolate you will be able to keep DPS.

I think that all contents can be cleared easily.
The video of Uber Elder, Uber Atziri, Aul, T16 map will prove it.

I think that it is not good to go to the league start.
There are too many minimum required gears.

I think that it is better to start after acquiring this gear.

5L geofri, Shaper's touch, Alberon's Warpath, Doon cuebiyari, Astramentis,
Efficient training * 2-3, Brawn * 2-3
I plan on starting as Holy flame totem then swapping over after getting the necessary gear. CI/ES builds are always re-spec later type of deals.
