No Exalt Drop in weeks .. whats the point ?

since delve ended i pretty much only play in standard

only played in betrayal league long enough to buy up a cinderswallow urn that i wanted to bring into standard later for a character, and then i bailed.

didnt really care that much for betrayal or having to start from scratch again when i still wasnt done fleshing out my builds from delve and i had some other stuff i wanted to get around to as well.

i kind of feel the same about this synthesis league, dont know if im going to sit it out as well. starting off piss poor and progressing at a snails pace for quite a while has seemed to have lost its appeal to me, especially now with all the crafting recipes and shit i would have to chase down, and i dont really care to keep putting myself through that hell until i can find a good enough reason to inspire me into doing it.

but im gonna wait and see what the general consensus seems to be with the new league, and if theres anything specific to it that i could probably get to improve on the builds im already using for when the league is over, and wouldnt require some crazy ass grind to try to obtain, then i have no problem making a new build just to chase after it and maybe see what the league is all about. if its rewarding enough i can see myself doing it, now that im pretty much done with my builds now. otherwise im perfectly content with just staying in the dumpster league. still enjoying it, or maybe im just not that bored yet.

ive got account since 2013. just recently started playing intensively and 0 exalts on standard or event. my brother started 2 weeks ago and he got 2 exalts in 3 days.

im guessing drops are different for old accounts like 0%.

I'm guessing your brother changed your loot filter to hide exalts and is laughing his ass off that you posted this.

RNG is RNG. In the past leagues, I played the entire league without a single exalt drop, then have 7 exalt drops this league, that's how RNG works.

But even if you're unlucky with exalt drop, there is a way to gain an exalt thru EXALT SHARDS RECIPE.

2× Exalted Shard = Identified, full set of either Shaper items or Elder items
4× Exalted Shard = Unidentified, full set of either Shaper items or Elder items

You need 20 shards to get 1 exalt orb.
Just farm shaper/elder influenced for weapons & armors, they are common drops.
For jewelry (rings, amulets & belts) they are more rare, just buy the cheapest (1-4c) in trade.

That's what I did to get an exalt for my crafting (shield: +1 minion) when I don't have exalt yet.

If you have the time, maps, and luck to get 5 entire sets of shaper gear to drop you probably don't NEED any more exalts. The critical point where most people make or break a league is right before they start mapping or slightly after when that crap gear they had isn't good enough and all the stuff to get the build to work costs a lot.
