Facebreaker needs some love

I don't see how it would be any better than a regular 2 hand maul using leap slam. If anything, wouldn't it be slightly worse at actually leap slamming?

Is it possible to increase unarmed crit chance with Increased Crit Chance nodes?

Personally I would love to see flicker strike and unarmed.

unarmed needs to be viable with AT LEAST leap slam/flicker strike

unarmed already suffers from a niche RARE unique item, and the lack of gem slots, having no mobility skill (cept for lightning warp) is just a kick in the nuts

i don't really see why you cant unarmed cleave and heavy strike either (think karate chop for cleave, and hammerfist for heavy strike), then there's dbl strike, dual strike, lighting strike, etc

but really? you can flicker strike with a huge mace, but not unarmed?

honestly the weapon restrictions on melee abilities are kind of abstract, i get that they add a dimension of tension in that you have to make choices (WITH WEAPONS, but why make unarmed suffer when it's already disadvantaged?)

but it would be nice if unarmed were allowed to use basically any melee ability and just consider it some bizarre form of martial arts (glacial hammer is ice fist style, whirling blades is finger sword dash, infernal blow is exploding palm, sweep is dragon's tail tornado kick, etc use yer imagination)

of course this leads to the desire for unique unarmed melee animations for these skills and that's a lot more work for GGG

I'm just glad the new cyclone skill will have no weapon restrictions (meaning it should theoretically work unarmed).

Unarmed will get aoe skills. It will just take some time.

You can use a shield, but unfortunately shield charge requires both a shield and a weapon equipped.

Personally I think shield charge would be a great addition to a facebreaker, but it's not possible at the moment.
