The Great Void
In the Underworld resides The Great Void, a vast and chaotic biome that spirals infinitely into oblivion. It exists as a dimension between the worlds of the dead/living, but nobody knows for sure what it is or how it came to be. The only thing that anyone can agree on is it seems to have a consciousness. The Great Void collects souls in transition. Some fight through The Void and its many biomes for all eternity, others rise through the mythical towers of Trinity never to be seen again. The worst off free-fall to the lower depths and dimensions of primordial chaos. The figurative lambs to the slaughter house feeding the ancient leviathan gods who lie dormant. A forgotten Elder God whose name has been erased from history lives at the center of The Great Void. His many horrifying creations roam the void, harvesting souls, with plans on invading the mortal realms. If the paradoxical center of The Void can be found, the forgotten Elder God's home can be raided, but be aware: this among other events can have dramatic effects on the world of the living. Sounds very similar to .... abyss, and delve together.
There could be additions to Delve added in the future, with extra ways to get Sulphite though, that could be a way for GGG to add some new contents, since they could add biomes, nodes, bosses, fossils, etc ... SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" It's supposed to be similar to delve. The underworld, or the dimensions of the dead, fits in the lore and the lovecraftian universe. I decided on a parallel content execution because up until Delve, all of the new content has been piled on the end, while most new players only make it halfway through. Parallel content allows you to sideload the newest content, helping our retention problem, and giving returning players something new to experience on the same ol' 1-10 grind without overloading the base content. Delve takes place underground Wraeclast, but is not the dimensions of the dead. Underground =/= the dimensions of the Underworld. This is more story and quest driven, a hybrid between side content and an act. The Madness alone is a cool mechanic that can have myriad affects, but ends with you losing your mind when your hallucinations become reality and begin to atack you. The coolest thing is there are entire cities waiting to be found that are shielded from the madness. That and the quests you chose will affect all of Wraeclast, with two sides for players to fight and argue over. There are different drop tables for whichever side is in control. Going to be absolute chaos in the chatrooms as players try to shift the balance. Last edited by PathxofxDante#1683 on Jan 8, 2019, 2:40:15 AM

Your idea is extremely interesting, i'd be honored to play it

it sounds like a generic copy of delve + abyss.
Trust your mind and strengthen your abilities!

" Thanks for the feedback. I think of the great abyss more as a massive void between the land of the dead/living that has been inhabited and used to trap souls in transition. I will workshop the name to avoid confusion. It's supposed to represent limitless, terrifying potential. It's conscious, but not ruled by the god who inhabits the paradoxical center. The skeletons that occasionally haunt delve are not even in the same league as the monsters that inhabit the dimensions of the dead. Gods of gods reside in the dimensions of the dead with leviathans that could swallow up the universe and still be hungry. We're talking eons of unrestrained primordial chaos which is quite frankly a completely different scale. A few posts up I responded more deeply about the similarities between this and Delve. But again, I really appreciate you taking the time. " Last edited by PathxofxDante#1683 on Jan 8, 2019, 7:21:16 AM
