Bestiary BRICKED due to too many red beasts displacing all the yellows

Been spamming a lot of bestiary scarabs lately and got a message that my bestiary was filling up. Didn't mind, said I'd just do some recipes later, not knowing that the more red beasts i got with a full bestiary, the less yellow beasts I'd have due to the reds pushing out all the yellows. Now with no way to get rid of beasts or use red beasts in place of yellows, my bestiary is essentially broken. I've seen a couple of reddit threads on this issue so I know I'm not the only one with this problem; hope they come out with a fix sooner rather than later.

Please:

-Let us be able to get rid of certain beasts

-Use reds in place of yellows on recipes

-Create recipes that use multiple reds instead of yellows

A combination of all the above solutions would be perfect, but even just giving us one option would go a long way toward alleviating the issue. Was having a ton of fun this league before I ran into this.

this sounds like a serious problem. +1 for you my friend.

Thanks xd

Bestiary is my whole game right now, so this is kind of game-breaking for me. This will eventually become an issue for anyone farming bestiary bosses, so I'm hopeful they come out with a fix sooner rather than later
This is not acceptable. Easy solution would be to bring back Einhar's stones so they can be captured (and yes traded, what is wrong with that?)

During that league I used those several times to just get rid of beasts that were clogging up the menagerie.

This needs to be fixed NOW.
Censored.
Oh wow. Nicely spotten.
(if it can be said so, sry, English is not my native)

Good to know this anyway, until it fixed, need to spend beasts to prevent it going south.

Anyway, I`m still up for red, yellow and usual sulphite nodes, and 5-7 nodes on maps.
Like the beasts, you know..

Nico, I know! You can have such an enthusiasm as Einhar!

They didn't have scarabs in bestiary league so I can see how they probably didn't predict this would become an issue in betrayal, but I'm still surprised they haven't even made a comment on it. I know they're probably all coming back from their holiday break, I dont expect an immediate fix, but at least say something about it ('We're aware of the issue, looking at possible solutions' etc.)

The problem with bestiary orbs is that they don't fix the underlying issues which are that red beasts push out less rare beasts in your bestiary and players who are spamming bestiary scarabs to farm bestiary bosses are gathering red beasts at a rate far higher than they can spend them at. I still believe letting us be able to get rid of specific beasts is the best option. I can't believe they went through all of bestiary league like this and still decided it wasn't a good idea to let us have this feature.

Honestly, I'm preparing myself for the possibility that they simply won't do anything about it, in which case I'll return to delving for the next two weeks until I get bored and quit the league.

Thanks for the reply.

For players using bestiary scarabs, crafting recipes won't correct the issue, it will only exacerbate it (now not only are you getting too many red beasts that are displacing the yellows in your menagerie, you're also using up all the yellow beasts you've already accrued). Using yellow beasts to craft recipes will only accelerate the rate at which you eventually brick your bestiary.

I don't have a problem with the current rate of sulphite output (this is a topic for another thread though.)
+1

Still far from filling up my menagerie, but this will increasingly be a more and more serious problem on the mid/long term. Hope they will find a way for us to deal with unwanted beasts aside from "just craft things" (which, as OP said, won't quite solve it). See no reason why we can't at least release the beasts if the other options are more complex to implement.

Since we only have red and yellow beasts and you always need at least three yellow beasts per a red beast in beastcrafting, they could just have separate stores for red and yellow beasts.

For example, your menagerie could hold 200 red and 600+ yellow beasts instead of just holding 800 of any kind of beast.
Here's a suggestion: New beasts added to menagerie when it's full replaces either the oldest beasts, with a priority on preserving special ones like the First Ones or the ones that give you access to their realms.

Typical red beasts would not be preservable, meaning they can be swapped out for yellow.

Another idea: Just give Einhar the ability to release whichever ones you don't want.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!
