Chaos alchs fusings etc drop like confetti these days which is what people demanded, do people really expect the chaos:exalt ratio to remain static?
It was proven in at least two leagues, it is not “chaos recipes” or “chaos drops like confetti” issue, it is purely and solely bots issue. Specialized bot farms gathering 70-100 thousands chaos orbs each day in act 3 and 8, and then buy out every exalt orb available on market, to sell it for real money. Because number of players has increased dramatically in current league, it is outstanding business for RMT traders. This state of affairs will last until on reddit and overall “internet” PoE will start to be known as a game, which is theoretically free to play, but completely unfinishable unless you spent some money in… RMT shops.
I don't agree. I've been playing this game for only a month or three now (though my account is older as I tried the beta years ago), and found out there's many of ways to farm for exalts without having to buy them with chaos. And I would never, ever buy them from external sources as that would completely ruin the challenge and fun for me.
I don't see myself as a super efficient, knowledgeable player but if you read up on some vendor recipes, look into div cards, learn how to best use the temple, the Betrayal safehouses and Delves or study the market and learn how to use trading opportunities, there's plenty of ways to make money and there are quite some ways to go around needing chaos to get your hands on some sweet exalts.
See it as a challenge and a learning opportunity :)
Guys, he's been playing a couple months. Definitely knows what he's talking about. After all, you can go farm exalts your self! loool

Never mind the fact that bots farm the areas where they can most efficiently gain exalts through div cards.
If anything this should mean that they make exalt prices go down. The reason this is not the case is because exalts are immensely undervalued (by non-bots, that is). Instead, bots bring the chaos/exalt value closer to what the drop ratio of chaos/exalted actually is. Which just happens to be more than people value their exalts at.
Whatever. Don't see how it matters. If exalted are worth more, then everything that costs exalts just costs a lower amount of them. And the fact that chaos is close to worthless right now can't be helped by banning bots. Incursion/Delve/Betrayal made sure of that. Good. Means using chaos orbs is not such a sink.
...So what are we complaining about again?

Not sure if serious. Bots impact the ratio price of exalts. That's not refutable, nor is it a good thing. If things were the way you suggest, then the player economy would do it all by its self.

Have even tried to "farm exalteds" yourself first?
Try it, and you'll still get shitloads of chaos, fusings and other currency in the process. Especially considering that bots can easily perform even unpractical (for players) vendor recipes, cause they're bots.
I bet, for every exalted farmed, bot will bring 100-150 chaos...
