Critical Strike Chance vs Global Critical Strike Chance?
I don't believe the above post is correct, I botch up my forum maths but the global crit chance implicit isnt a multiplicative modifier.
Hey...is this thing on? Last edited by LostForm#2813 on Sep 24, 2014, 4:08:45 PM

You are correct, LostForm.
Crit Chance from the tree/other gear is technically also Increased Global Crit Chance, but because it cannot apply locally (what, your Passive tree is going to Crit? :P ), there is no need to add the word 'Global'. Because ICC can apply locally to a Dagger, they have added the word 'Global' to denote that it is, in fact, not a local modifier. It functions the same as ICC from the tree however, stacking additively. Coolx3lp has 580+40 = 620% Increased Crit Chance, and thus 6.8 * 7.2 = 48.96% Chance to Crit. |

I have a question. Does property Global Critical Strike Chance on Amulet/Ring improves totem damage?

" it's simple really, you have: - the base crit chance of your weapon: x - the local crit chance multiplier: y - the global crit chance multiplier: z the crit chance in attack tooltip with this weapon is: x*y*z the crit chance on the weapon is: x*y I think that instead of special wording, local modifiers should have a special color, like master craft mods. " If it is a totem that can crit, it does, totems cast your spells and swing your attacks, and increasing glocal crit chance will increase the crit chance of your spells/attacks that can crit. But for example a righteous fire totem cannot crit, since RF cannot crit, in this case, crit chance wouldn't help. Last edited by EnafAequi#0569 on Jun 8, 2016, 4:04:59 AM
