No character customization + gender lock?

What I found on the page about the cash shop didn't say anything about what I asked for.

Waaaah, so touchy. PM Chris if you want an answer - don't post on the forums where 0% of the population would know any of this.

Who cares? For an isometric gear based game, these things are almost pointless. Diablo II was the same way, and not once did I think, wow this is really hampering my enjoyment, over the last 11 years. Now for a game like Guild Wars where its 3D, MMO like, and not AS gear based, it is necessary.

It's an ARPG, i personally dont want character customization in the game. There is plenty of gear to determine how you look.

Not confirmed by GGG. Chris said it's very very expenssive and time consuming, so it's not high on their "do to" list. BTW, to all = make sure you've used SEARCH box before starting new threads, most topics are already discussed earlier - this one at least 5 times, with some serious debate on topic.

SEARCH box is located on right side of forum / thread header.

Dealt with it in D 2 LoD won't have a problem with it in this game.

If this was a fps I could agree, but in an RPG where your character is everything and you look at it for hours and everybody looks the same except for armor, that is kinda sad in this day and age.

And yes I'am talking about facial features and hair styles ect.

This isn't an RPG, it's an Action RPG and each "class" has a storyline. Think of it not as you playing some shell whose features and personality you create, but as playing a pre-existing character with its own thoughts, feelings, etc. It's not backwards, it just takes things in a direction different from where the industry is trending.

Cash shop options are all we can hope for I suppose

I think the devs will have a Basic template in place and updates will probably be done after beta
