No character customization + gender lock?

From what I have seen in the video's the classes are gender locked AND you can't customize them.
Will this be changed for release?

Was impressed with the overall features (pvp ladders ect.) but this kinda sucks...

are you asking for M/F for each class?

and I assume you mean change hair color eyes nose etc?

If you read the information available on the site and forum you would have answers to this already. Each class is gender locked. Customization through cash shop will be available.

To me it never seemed needed to personally customize your character outside of gender in an ARPG. I do like that they give the option to have the store to buy the cosmetic fixes for those who really need it though.

Agreed, you can customize your gear so hopefully your char will have an individual look anyway.

I'd like to customize the gender of my char though since it adds to atmosphere but not being able to do so is certainly not going to break the game for me.

I was about to post a question about the very same thing, asking if you could pay money to change the gender of the player characters.

I know some guys that just refuses to play female characters in games, so for them it could be worth any price to skip that. :)

I believe this game will have a cash shop allowing you to alter that if I remember correctly.

If this was a fps I could agree, but in an RPG where your character is everything and you look at it for hours and everybody looks the same except for armor, that is kinda sad in this day and age.

And yes I'am talking about facial features and hair styles ect.
