It's level 28, when u can get BF.

Only mandatory unique for starting are the shoes IMO, for the +20% movement speed :
Wanderlust.
But be aware that atm, PoB is not completely updated for 3.7 : new skills missing. So I can't include new auras like "Blood and Sand".

I have played in 3.7 for like an hour in t15 and 16 maps.
Auras : Dread Banner, Blood and Sand, Flesh and Stone, Pride.

My Evade chance has lowered : 20%, down from 35%. But with Sand Stance, nearby enemies are blinded. Then, Immortal Call now reduces physical and elemental Damages. And a new dagger node offers % to gain phasing on kill. All in all, I've felt safer.

My accuracy is now 100% against evasive enemies (up from 94%) but I'm sure I have lost some attack speed, which is not good to apply poisons.

BF now has more options to change the AoE.
You can go max AoE with Sand Stance and Pulverise support. With this setup, BF can almost cover the whole screen ! I'll try and add Inc.AoE support and see if we can get a far shot, offscreen-killer BF !

On the contrary, you can go full YOLO style with Blood Stance, Conc.Effect and Rage support. Got to wait for PoB update to get accurate numbers.

The new movement skill, Dash, is very interesting. Will be useful in dangerous fights like Uber Atziri or Uber Elder.

Overall, I'd say that the Ancient Ones look upon this Legion update with pRRRide, Exiles.

- Since PoB doesn't have yet the new gems, I have simulated the "91% more phys dmg" bonus from impale on the life flask. See first msg, section 3 for impale calculations.
- On the belt, there is the "13% more dmg" for the Ryslatha. See "5. Detailed gearing" for calculations.

I have added some secondary options for the stuff :
- Two shields
- Hyrri's Truth amulet
- Winterweave ring
- Cyclopean coil belt

As soon as possible, I'll update a new version with the stats in Blood and Sand stances.

But just to give you a rough idea : in Sand Stance, with Pulverise support + Inc. AoE, BF can shoot this totem or those rocks from where I stand :

Somewhat slow build at the beginning. It's much faster and more damage just to use frost blades atm.
Gonna check what will be with 4-l gear.

Frost Blades has very good clearspeed, yes, but fairs poorly against bosses.
I'll include it in my beginner's setup, ty for the idea.

* Note that Impale effects are still not supported. I have manually added the bonus from Impale on the life flask.
* Several variations are included for BF.
* In the items setup, you can always find several shields, Cyclopean Coil and Winterweave ring. Hyrri's truth amulet is not useful for endgame anymore, since we already have perfect accuracy and high crit chance. .

Actually, this is not 100% pure phys, but mainly phys :D Since we get some poison dmg + 20% chaos dmg against poisoned enemies ;)
But that's true, pure phys is what I intended first.

Other possible skills (by personal order of decreasing preference) :
- Viper Strike : now 50% phys dmg converted to chaos. The most Assassin-esque skill ;) Should work better with new 3.7 melee. But it would require some changes on the skill tree and auras.
But if you just change some gems, you can choose :
- Dual strike
- Double Strike
- Reave
- Cyclone
