Then don't buy it for 5 ex.

I'm not even interested in the amulet. This post is more or less a warning to new players who are being taken advantage of.

Lol. Whatever you say.

It's interesting to see so many comments entirely ignoring the core piece of information behind this post: Yoke's shock mechanic, the bread & butter of the amulet, is entirely useless against end-game bosses like Shaper & Uber Elder; making it nothing more than a resist amulet with what is effectively a 5% ADDITIVE damage modifier (yawn).

Once again, Xoph's is the BIS choice for anyone taking any type of fire Ele Hit build to end-game. In terms of utility, Yoke is the exact same amulet that it was back when it was selling for scraps @ ~25c. The only thing that's changed is it's drop rate, & now the wave of new Blizzard Refugees are being manipulated into vastly overpaying for a sub-par amulet.
Should I make fun of you or should I teach economics? Or should I teach you a new build?

Seems you a need a lesson of both.

"new players" don't have 5ex. "new players" are still figuring out how to kill the Oversoul in Act II.
Shags since you're walrus #211 codename old guy and you're a professor teaching students can you give him a lesson on economics?

You should take your own advice & consider the claims you're hinting at in your statements.

The supply of Yoke dropped while the demand remained relatively the same in terms of it's utility in comparison to Xoph's. A properly adjusted market would reflect that by showing an increase in value to Yoke overall (obviously), but while still being cheaper than it's superior alternative, that being Xoph's Blood.

The altered supply simply does not account for the drastically inflated cost of Yoke right now. Once the market levels out, & there are no more new players around to buy these overpriced Yokes, we'll certainly see a sharp dip in it's market value.

You're offering a uni-dimensional argument to a multi-dimensional phenomena.

I have 2 brand new POE players in my discord who are already farming Shaper & are sitting on a generous amount of currency. There's absolutely nothing hard about it; you just blindly copy/paste someone else's trap/mine Arc build, YouTube a guide on killing end-game bosses, & then win with little effort & investment.

It appears you need a lesson in irony as well as economics.

You've done nothing to counter the point I made. You're just pissing in the wind & pretending it's a spring shower.

Sorry when you're probably poor in this game and clearly haven't a single clue on how to sell properly or trade properly you have no case I mean I could do the usual link 3 mirrors and 3 hh's but that's kinda overkill eh?

Economics isn't hard

But go on.
