I wish poets pen gave extra skill levels every 24 player levels, not 25 😭

you can measure my level of patience by my max level character, which I think is 93. I am not sure whether I am below/average/or above. All I know is that was the most I could stomach.

The XP loss from death is really trying. I’m at level 90 now, but without any XP progress because I die like once a day (if you chill and play, your inattentiveness will cost you). I feel like they shouldn’t be so harsh wih deaths in softcore, what’s the harm of letting players reach 95-100 anyway?
Most I got to was 95, and that was intentional running of Beach heads and PoorJoys. Not fun at all, I won’t be trying that again soon. |

when you become savvy you understand hitting 100 depends soley on how much currency you're willing to dump into maps.
I'm lvl 95 now and only run breach and pure stones. I died yesterday and still gained 40% exp. I get about 8% per map at lvl 95 with a pure. leveling in the past was way more difficult. " Nothing beats legacy league, though. I think the record was 13 hours from 1 - 100. Also, if you want to save money, try flare running. Towerbrah got to 100 in just over 3 days /played in HCSSF. " It really depends on the league. In early leagues, anything above 85 was excessive (monster lvl 78 was the highest). Then came the atlas... I had 95 in harbinger because of the excessive xp in beachhead, dropped down to early 90s in between, then 96 in Delve because of the "free" monster lvl 83 content. This league, with plenty of high tier content, but also rippy syndicate... Maybe 93 as my personal soft cap? 3.5 build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2299519

It's a f*cked up system which is designed to make you hate the game. That's it, pretty much.
Few other rpg with a level progression is designed for a punishment only. Frankly I would prefer having system as is except hard cap at level 95, because at the same time player feels there is levelling to be done and he is forced to go into a self-imposed HC mode after level 95 or so (elitists pretend they do not get this argument yet dying at levels 95+ makes you lose time spent equal to levelling a new char to 90). |
