New weapon prefix: "% Chance to blind enemies on hit" work on spells?

Blind Support isnt global, Its works to only linked skill. Same as this preffix. Its linked to the weapon, and you use spell, not weapon.

You understood what I meant; it works with every linked skill that "hits", no matter if it's an attack or not - but still has the same wording as "blind on hit" on a weapon, which only works with attacks. It's far from intuitive.

"X% chance to blind with hits" shouldn't be very hard to change to "X% chance to blind on hit with attacks" when the mod is on a weapon, especially as they don't work the same.

It's the same way with "physical damage" on weapons versus on the tree. "Experienced" players all know that it only applies to the weapon damage and not physical spells, but as "increased physical damage" on a wand (etc) looks the same as "increased cold damage" on a wand, it's not very intuitive to understand the difference, as a lot of spells deal physical damage.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

im not sure why these questions keep getting asked, it literally tells you in words what the skill you use does, then you look for stats that have the same word in it and they work together.

Its literally word matching.
just for try, for see and for know

Seems logical, but doesn't really apply.

Spells can "hit", but they don't work as "attacks."

So if a skill craft says "on hit" like in this particular case, it is in fact. Misleading.
