Syndicate Mastermind - Has anyone killed him/her? Cause i just failed

I'm probably totaly stupid but failed to kill her twice, i go to inv phase without problems then i tried to stand at totem, eat green beam, fight her in close range, evrything, i even turned off all mtx to see that tether ppl was talking about but there is nothing, no arrow under my char, no tether nothing.
Totally confusing fight, at least at uber elder first fights u know what to do, here, is totally nothing and ofc another boss with inv phases we all love.
I guess i will skip her till end of league.

The fight took me so long that "Your soul burrrns for me" is literally burned into my brain. Boss looks amazing but the fight overall was a bit of a mess. I'm sure it'll become better with time.

Yep, boss looks great, i wish i cloud buy her armour :) but totall mess makes it totally unplayable to me.

If I find this item, I can see it being fun.

you get her down in first room. easy

next you get her health down , 1 of her guardian comes alive , when you kill him , the you go to the PILLAR behind where he was. and stay there til its destroyed.

Then rinse and repeat , DONT got into the area's you destroyed the pillars , there is a massive degen there.

I did that, i stand at totem for 17 min, nothing ahppened, she was shooting at me but totem was totally fine.

Fun Fight! I liked it.



It's literally just dodging in circles. When the totems on the corner of the rooms light up, stand next to it. You will suck the power out of it. That area now becomes off limits for the rest of the fight.

Go back to her and fight her until she releases another of her syndicate guardians.

Kill the guardian and continue to dodge the big AOE from the pilar in the middle.

Another pillar on the corner of the room will highlight. Find it and stand next to it to suck out it's power.

This will cause her to release another syndicate minion to attack you. Kill them.

This cycle happens 3 times. The AOE in the middle speeds up after every cycle.

After the 3rd, just dps her down. Then victory.

Anyone else have massive freezes in the fight?
With every dialogue, game stops like when shaper interrupts a map boss fight, except it all speeds up afterwards, and I am dead.
Cost me 4 portals, 1 for each of her guards...

Can someone enlighten me - is the Mastermind boss a fixed level area, and if not, what influences the resulting level? Is that known?
