Can not change socket colors of corrupted items

The crafting bench shows the correct cost in Chroms + Vaal orbs but when you try to color even while having the currency in your inventory you get an error message that says "the item is corrupted."

" No? You can use crafting bench to change socket/Links/ of corrupted items, you just need a counterpart of Vaal Orbs to pay with the normal price. |

" please dont spread misinformation buddy, you can change corrupted sockets using vaal orbs and chromes when vorici was here, they have transferred the correct cost but seems it is broken at the moment. |
