Skill Reveal: Lancing Steel and Shattering Steel

So basically Ethereal Knives and Barrage for melee users.......

Wait.. arent theese skills identical?

You could have easily merged theese into a base skill, and let GMP and Faster Proj modify them into the 2 separate skills we see in the videos.

I mean shattering steel looks like a wider cone shorter range. And Lancing steel is the smaller cone longer range version.

So basically we get a better frost blades and EK. I would love to see more weird, unique viable skills like discharge or old EA or old VMS.

Just shows how out of ideas ggg is now. I only see reskin of frost blades and Ethereal Knives in these 2 skills. ggg is getting dumb. PERIOD.

Can't believe the negativity towards these new skills. Yes the first one looks like frost blades, but read the text. They create a small cone aoe on impact. Unlike frost blades.

The 2nd skill is nothing like EK, due to range/spread. This is like saying ice spear and frost bolt are the same, they both move outwards and deal cold damage.

Also, GGG did NOT state anywhere that these skills are the only skills that can impale. They simply said these come with a base form of the new impale, kinda like frost blades forks automatically. This will probably be a support gem as well.

Is this going to work with Ngahmahus Axe? If so, i know what i will be playing next league :)

Here's to hoping Gladiators bleed nodes synergize with impale :P Gratuitous Violence really sounds like you should be impaling people.

No, you're wrong, Frost Blades converts physical to cold and Ethereal Knives is a spell, totally different! /s These new skills here are Lancing Spectral Throw and Shattering Spectral Throw...
